I personally know this kid, I knew the Baby, I knew the mother. I know the Grandmother. Its a horrible story and it's done a lot of harm to the family and the Grandmother. I was very close to all of them except the child's mother. I know why Blair did what he did. I DID NOT SEE IT COMING BUT have had a couple years now to analyze the situation.

This has hurt me directly and cost me emotionally. A SCAR I will never lose.

Blair and Alex did not know each other long before she ended up pregnant. Blair was a good kid. He was on a good path. Sure he had a previous encounter in New Mexico. But I'd say it was BS...even the courts there thought so as all he got was probation. Blair had just completed his probation. He was in love with a woman who did not feel the same as he did. All he ever wanted was a solid love with the white picket fence. Blair in the last few weeks before this happened dove deep into religion. He was getting into the old testament. There's even more that I will not disclose at this time. His mother also was deep into religion. After that dreadful day his mother went even deeper into religion and watching what ever show she could find that might give her answers Regretfully, I know she will never find those answers. I await daily for the end of this case as it may bring closure for both families who are suffering the loss of not only little Ashton but Blair as well. I pray daily for them..

Oops - my mistake - no hearing yesterday - just a plea bargain data stuff. Looks like his next hearing isn't until January - but I'll keep looking to see if anything pops up that will be more current.
