Oooh is this the one about the girl who went to the casino and sat next to a guy, then left with him? I'm about to watch.

Edit: yes! I watched this on Netflix last month. So interesting. 👍

We discussed this case early on in the first few months. I don't remember who brought it up. I also mentioned the Lynsie Ekelund case from Dateline. (It was on YouTube, but I can't find it now.) Lynsie had been out with someone who claimed to have dropped her off down the block from her house. It turned out he was one who killed her.

Subpoena list is up for case

401-80513-2015 (Aggravated Kidnapping)

For anyone that thought PPD wasn't doing their jobs: Tons of name on there you probably wouldn't recognize and many that you will. 188 total. Interestingly, no one with the same last name as the defendant is on the list.

Thank you for this! I recognized some names and will be interested to see what they have to say. Also, noticed a dentist...? From bite marks on EA? 12 weeks for the vac shop test?? I wonder if that wasn't overlooked at some point. We sure didn't miss it! Great sleuthers here, I have learned so much in this past year from you all. Justice for Christina!!!

That is a big number. For comparison, I checked a couple of murder cases in Collin County over the past year.

Melinda Muniz 401-80836-2014, 35 subpoenas.
Benjamin Newman 416-81563-2014, 22 subpoenas.
Amon Dzwairo 219-82237-2013, 17 (I think) subpoenas.

Those cases were much, much, much different so less subpoenas make sense. It looks like many of the names are police officers(I'm sure many forensic lab related), and PI/Search/Rescue related. Sometimes less is more, but PPD gets an 'atta boy', it looks like they have worked hard to get it right.

Good work! Thanks, that puts things in perspective to me. When will they serve these subpoenas? Let's get this rock rolling, Justice for Christina who did nothing wrong! She wanted to go home and take care of her dog and see if her boyfriend was going to straighten up. A lot of women live on "hope". She was precious, creative, smart, and loved her mommy(s) and dad. She didn't need either one of these guys IMO. But we women tend to want to fix things, don't we? Peace for Christina!

As posted, it's unclear as to whether that list might include defense subpoenas requested. I would suspect it does.

WOW! That is a lot of people.
A lot of forensic people perhaps. And yes some for the defence. Wonder what they have.

It's time Christina gets justice and her family can get some sort of closure.

So will HF have to testify from jail or will they bring him to court? And will he be in his prison jumpsuit?

I also wander about the last names with numbers by it. My first tthought were they are inmates but after looking at EA's inmate number, it doesn't appear tthat is right. Any thoughts on who those people are? JMO

ETA and I wander why they subpeonad a spa?
