(((in the last thread I posted all the links.... to dig....oy veh!))))

1) no confirmation of any text
2)le may be investigating a text sent

these are within 12 hours of each other...

yeah I know....
:thud::thud::thud:

Holy speeding typing fingers, batman..wow..I leave for an hour and lots of stuff happening.

I showed my 16 yr old dd the michael myers site and what she thought about a 25 yr old man hanging around it and posting on the forums, she jus said gross. When I explained that Hailey was missing etc, and that the mom's live-in was into the Michael Myers stuff, she just blurted out "she's dead". I hope she's wrong.

I am trying to access the Texas Board of Nursing's site but either my FIOS is acting wonky or the site is down. I thought I had read BD's license was revoked for lying about her credentials (at least in the transcript I saw on-line). I will see..I didn't think she got her license back that easily (but I could, of course, be wrong).

Look Karazy...we don't know at this point if there's news to be had from NG, PK, STR or the magic 8 ball. I'm beginning to think in order to get any news, we may have to put feet on the ground.

ETA: And nowwwwwwwwwwwww the "pants on the ground" song is stuck in my head. :maddening:

The KlaasKids Foundation and the Laura Recovery Center Foundation are working together, and asking for volunteers to help get out and search for missing teen Hailey Dunn.
The two groups arrived in Colorado City Tuesday afternoon, more than 3 weeks after the teen was last seen.
After meeting with family and law enforcement, they plan to start training volunteers and begin an organized search Wednesday.
Though volunteers have been out searching for weeks now, the two national groups hope to combine resources and train volunteers on how to search areas, and what to do if they find anything. They also want to teach them how to keep in contact with law enforcement, so that volunteers are covering as much ground as possible.
If you want to volunteer, you are asked to meet at the Colorado City Civic Center Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.

But nothing prevents him from having the phone with him, does it?

If he had the phone with him wouldn't that show up on the ping tower map?
I think we would see that the phone was taken away from the home if he tried that.

Maybe HIS phone was taken by a friend somewhere else to give him an alibi.

JVM just talking about snookie drinking on Jersey Shores.........like in who really cares???/

Oh - and one more thing.

I asked about hooking it up to the net. He doesn't think you can tether it - those hard drives pull down a lot of band width and while he's never tried to tether his he said it probably wouldn't work because of what that drive will pull. BUT I did find out that now you can play on XBox Live without a PAID account. There is a new account you can get that is free - but you won't get the multi-player functions and the chat functions are very very limited. As far as "stealing" a wifi signal he said that would depend on how new the console was - the newer ones can "steal" a signal AND if you have the wireless wifi adapter (I bought him one of those a few Xmas's ago - it like an antenna that just plugs into the back) but if you have one of those - then yea you can steal signals all day.

Ok - I think I'm done with the Xbox lesson now. lol

"kampfer" I would think that today he ****mooo**** has said that evidence was found that could be related and it is being tested with forensics ((took this from all of his snippets today))... and ***moo**** there was a 2 pm text from that phone ((but no clue that Hailey sent it))

moo moo moo

((and good night peeps... nurse is getting a cold and needs some rest))

While we have this lull ---

I spoke at length with my DS this afternoon concerning this XBox. It was very informative. That XBox will have a wealth of information on it. Whether or not it was ever connected to the internet or not - as long as it was one with a hard drive.

That hard drive will tell LE so so so much - regardless of what game she was playing that night.

One thing I was very curious of was if the date and time stamps internally can be changed. He told me - yes you can change it but the hard drive will record that it was changed.

Just think about it like your hard drive on your computer - that is exactly what it is. AND if it EVER was hooked up to the net - well then there will be that much more. Because the first time you hook it up - then microsoft will record and even download info to that hard drive and that stays forever - whether or not you ever hook it up to the net again. Also, there is a back up in it -like if you unplug it. Regardless of unplugging it - it will store game info for a short time and if you don't get it plugged back in before the back-up timer stops - then the drive will loose all your game info. BUT not really - forensics will be able to retrieve all that info including the date and time it was unplugged - kinda like deleting stuff on your phone or computer - it never really goes away.

After talking to him - I understand why LE took that XBox now and I think it will help quite a bit with who played what and when.

Well talking to DH he agrees with you to the point that LE seized it right away. All the info will be there even if it was deleted or unplugged.
Now lets give a for instance for future reference. If information is deleted 2 years in advance the blank pages so to speak will be filled in with other language and information thus being lost forever even by forensic specialists.

Hope there is pertinent info from Xbox to confirm or deny. I just wonder if there was anyone close enough that had unprotected wifi as it's been stated that Hailey would sometimes walk toward the motel to use theirs.
