*Pretrial Hearing (@ 9am CT) - TX - Heidi Elizabeth Broussard (33) & Margo(t) Elizabeth Carey (2 wks.) (missing on Dec. 12, 2019, Austin; found Dec. 19, 2019, Heidi deceased inside trunk of car (2015 Nissan Versa) owned by Magen at Jersey Village near Houston; baby Margo(t) alive & healthy). *Magen Rose Fieramusca (33/now 36) aka Maygen Humphrey, Magan (& Magen) Rose Humphrey, Maygen Fieramusca, May Humphrey & May Fieramusca arrested (12/19/19) & charged (12/20/19) with 2 counts of 3rd degree kidnapping & 1 count of 2nd degree tampering with a human corpse. $600K bond.
Indicted & recharged (1/28/20) with 1 count of capital murder by terror threat & 2 counts of 3rd degree kidnapping (Margo(t)) & 1 count of tampering with evidence. $1M bond (on murder). Harris County transferred (12/20/19) to Travis County.

9/12/22 Update: No info on hearing, next pretrial hearing on 10/4/22, attorneys via Zoom, Fieramusca does not have to attend. 10/4/22 Update: Next pretrial hearing on 10/24/22, Fieramusca does not have to attend.
10/24/22 Update: Next pretrial hearing on 11/21/22 & Fieramusca does not have to attend.

So - I guess her saying she is innocent of the charges - she is pleading not guilty. But did she ever have an arraignment hearing to make it "official" plea?

I'll have to dig when I get home tonight unless someone else finds it first. IIRC, there was an arraignment in Dec 2019 but some confusion about whether that was for the traffic infractions or Heidi's case. MOO

MF only had one hearing in 2021....

After reviewing the 2019-2022 timeline above, it appears that MF was arraigned in 2019 when arrested for kidnapping and tampering with a corpse and plead not guilty.

She was later indicted for capital murder by the GJ in late January 2020, and most likely waived arraignment with her attorney entering NG. She only had one hearing in 2021, and most of 2022's hearings were devoted to the suppression of evidence where the judge denied the defense motions. Also, I recall MF's been through two sets of attorneys, and then the judge (and DA) initially assigned to the case lost his bid for re-election!

Magen Fieramusca had reportedly been Broussard's close friend for more than 20 years. She was arraigned and charged with kidnapping and tampering with a corpse. Now, the community is trying to come to terms with Broussard's tragic death.
