Magen Fieramusca case: Woman accused of killing Austin mom, kidnapping baby to plead guilty
The woman accused of killing an Austin friend and kidnapping her 3-week-old baby in December 2019 is expected to enter a guilty plea during her next court appearance on Jan. 31, her attorneys told …www.kxan.com
Sorry, I can't keep up..... the both kidnapping charges have been dismissed?? Is there a link??
Sorry, it's my assumption only from MSM news that MF will only have to serve 27.5 years-- 50% of the negotiated 55-year sentence.
Last week, KXAN learned that the attorneys involved in the case had come to a resolution. In exchange for a guilty plea, Fieramusca will be convicted of the lesser offense of murder, and the kidnapping and tampering with evidence charges will be dropped.
How silly of me to think this evil woman would get the harshest sentence possible; such as the death penalty. If these crimes did not warrant the harshest sentence possible, I don’t know what does. This is not justice.KXAN has confirmed my previous assumptions stated here that kidnapping and tampering w/evidence charges were dropped with the plea agreement and why MF could be eligible for release after serving only 50% of sentence or 27.5 years.![]()
I really hope the freezing weather cooperates -- especially for Heidi's parents traveling from LA.
Just to put it here:I just looked at the court website and the new date for the sentencing and plea stuff is on the 2nd which is Thursday
Everything is scheduled for 9:15 am central standard time
Yes, how silly of us to think the case against her was pretty iron clad and would result in the death penalty or life without parole!-- why would they take a plea in this case when it appears that they have a great case and she would get a very harsh sentence: what am I missing here? I mean, is there really any defense in this case? If there is I can't think of any defense for this woman. How silly of me to think this evil woman would get the harshest sentence possible; such as the death penalty. If these crimes did not warrant the harshest sentence possible, I don’t know what does. This is not justice.
