Found Safe TX - Jax Laymance, 10 months, Palestine, 2 Mar 2017

Well, if no arrests have been made, I think we can assume the baby is alive and in acceptable condition.

Thankfully, as they almost always are when the noncustodial mom kidnaps her own child.

Almost always.

An 11-month-old child whose disappearance prompted an Amber Alert was found unhurt in the backseat of a vehicle Thursday night in Arkansas, authorities said.

"Found safe" is starting to trickle through the media. Hope it's correct info! :happydance:

Also from the second link:

The 11-month-old child was found in a carseat in the backseat of a vehicle at the home, Miller said. The baby was taken to an ambulance due to the cold weather and will be turned over to Child Protective Services, the release said.

More info there, they tracked them through phone pings.

Sorry to keep posting, info on how this went down:

Deputy Hester and Sgt. Investigator Lloyd Giles responded to the call and obtained the information of the assault on John Vancompernolle who was pushed to the ground and Sharon Vancompernolle who was assaulted when a door was slammed on her leg. Neither person required medical attention at the scene.
Deputy Hester and Sgt. Giles were advised they had allowed their granddaughter Morgan Mosely, W/F, DOB: 1/21/93 to visit with her son Jax Dean Laymance, W/M, DOB: 4/21/16. Mrs. Vancompernolle observed the child's father Jeremy Laymance, W/M, DOB: 11/21/89 get out of the back of the vehicle and assault her husband by pushing him to the ground.
Mrs. Vancompernolle stated Morgan Mosely then rushed out of the house with the child and in the process slammed the door on her leg. Morgan Mosely got in the car with the child and Jeremy Laymance and they sped away.

Since no arrests have been made, and they're "still investigating" I wonder if the grandparents had official custody of the baby, or if it was just by family agreement. I wouldn't think there would be lack of clarity about who had custody rights to the child.

Very concerning that the baby was found in the back of a car parked in a driveway. :( There's a reason grandparents are involved here.
