The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office says Jax Dean Laymance has been found safe Thursday night in White County, Arkansas. An Amber Alert on the boy was dropped at 11:50 p.m. Thursday.
An 11-month-old child whose disappearance prompted an Amber Alert was found unhurt in the backseat of a vehicle Thursday night in Arkansas, authorities said.
The 11-month-old child was found in a carseat in the backseat of a vehicle at the home, Miller said. The baby was taken to an ambulance due to the cold weather and will be turned over to Child Protective Services, the release said.

Deputy Hester and Sgt. Investigator Lloyd Giles responded to the call and obtained the information of the assault on John Vancompernolle who was pushed to the ground and Sharon Vancompernolle who was assaulted when a door was slammed on her leg. Neither person required medical attention at the scene.
Deputy Hester and Sgt. Giles were advised they had allowed their granddaughter Morgan Mosely, W/F, DOB: 1/21/93 to visit with her son Jax Dean Laymance, W/M, DOB: 4/21/16. Mrs. Vancompernolle observed the child's father Jeremy Laymance, W/M, DOB: 11/21/89 get out of the back of the vehicle and assault her husband by pushing him to the ground.
Mrs. Vancompernolle stated Morgan Mosely then rushed out of the house with the child and in the process slammed the door on her leg. Morgan Mosely got in the car with the child and Jeremy Laymance and they sped away.

"Both Jeremy Dean Laymance, W/M, DOB 11/21/89 and Morgan Lynn Mosley, W/F DOB 1/21/93 were arrested today around noon by the White County Arkansas Sheriff’s Office in connection with the Amber Alert issued last night for Jax Laymance.
White County acted on warrants obtained by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office this morning. A warrant was issued for each suspect, Laymance and Mosley, for Interference with Child Custody, a State Jail Felony. The warrants were signed by District Judge Mark Calhoun with bond set for each at $50,000.00.
The FBI and coordinated agencies in Arkansas located and recovered the child from the suspects, Black said.
The child was taken by CPS and returned to the legal guardians, the Vancompernolles, at 11:59 p.m, Black said.
