Mabel Ruth Wilkins had a challenging life, beginning the moment she entered this Earth. She was born on June 12, 1953, and complications due to a difficult breach birth caused her to suffer from learning and other disabilities. While there's not much information available, we do know that sometime in the 1980s, she was placed in a group home in Newton, Texas, although details aren't known or remembered. The last time she was seen, was when her two sisters were visiting her at the home- Ruth is in the middle of the photograph. No further details are known. Please pm me with any information.

Mabel is not missing. She was placed in a group home in the 80's and has been a resident every since. However, her family stopped visiting her and contact information wasn't kept. I have been searching for a blood relative for her with no luck. If anyone knows any of her relatives names, location, or phone contacts, it would help in reuniting her to them.

I mean no disrespect but how can you say Mabel Ruth Wilkins isn't missing? No one knows where she is at this time. She is a missing person that no one has reported missing. Also blood relatives can be found on Ancestry. She has plenty of blood relatives that are still living that can be found there. I believe it was a blood relative that asked for a group on Facebook to help them find Mabel. The person that said she is an unreported missing person is right, she is missing; and family can't find her. Someone gave the family bad advice and told them not to report her missing.
