Can anyone explain to me the logic of having a fight and breaking up with a significant other, then leaving the state, and leaving your daughter with this person? A person who previously abused your child?

Yeah, imagine leaving your child for even 5 seconds alone with a person you suspect may be molesting her. It's indefensible IMO.

She's not telling the truth, therefore logic will not apply ...

    Hoping Maleah is found soon.

What's frightening is if her body is never discovered, and BB continues on with her 'life' --and another child is harmed.
It's not a stretch to think that the older siblings and DV's youngest may have already endured some abuse and/or neglect.

Even if the law is able to nail DV without a body, someday he'll be free to wreak havoc in someone else's life.
Can't imagine BB taking him back after his sentence is served -- that's assuming he's put away for a significant number of years.
Then again.... this is BB we're talking about.
The smug look on her face ,even with the sunglasses on, in the latest msm video clip is infuriating.
    Imo.

Or even allowing him in your home.
We know DV took priority over MD.

IMO, she’d be out tonight, looking for a new rock star if Houston didn’t hate her.

One good thing about TX - they still have the death penalty. So, if the DA believes they have enough evidence to proceed with Murder 1, they may entertain a plea to take the DP off the table if he pleads guilty and leads LE to MD remains. JMO, MO

ETA - I’m only saying the DP is good here for terms of negotiation. Not meaning or intending to open a discussion on whether DP is good or bad.

I really thought she would have been found by the time this thread opened. I hate that she's still out there..... I keep seeing posts talking about "how dumb" DV could possibly be.... but he's playing this by the street code. Don't say a word and it will spare you time. I don't think he will ever talk and my hopes of this child being brought home to have a formal resting place are dwindling fast. I hope I'm proven wrong. In fact, if I am I will grovel. Please make me grovel.

In the previous thread, @Willow Knight posted:

According to the timeline, BB (or BB2) said they called LE the day after she got back in town (Sat.) and when no one called back, they went there and filed a missing persons report - if she'd been communicating with him, she knew he wasn't 'missing'. I wonder what she told LE, did they know she'd been in communication with him? I also wonder who was driving the Altima around 3:00 that day, when it was caught on the traffic camera, she or he.

Someone answered me on the previous thread that Maleah is in speech therapy. Is she able to communicate fairly well? Just trying to gage how much she may have been able to tell her mother and teachers.

I am not sure that we know the extent of her brain damage, from the "inconclusive "fall"". There is no real way to make a conclusive statement, she could just have a speech delay, or problems with recall and memory. No clue. It doesn't seem like she had any fine or gross motor problems.

He very well may never talk, but I still have hope that he won’t have to.

A man who believes that people will believe his insane fairytale, probably isn’t a guy who covered his tracks well.

He and “common sense,” have probably never been uttered in the same breath.

I’m confident that law enforcement will be able to use other means to find her.

Cell phone location data, surveillance footage, there’s likely something.
