Hey @MsMarple - I think it's about been 2 weeks! Any changes on the court site? I'm just reading what it says for 7/24/20-
Hearing Date set on the 1st description & on the second it says:
Trial Date set -

So - I'm thinking it is not the trial itself, but a hearing to set the trial date? No?

Bumping up for @MsMarple - hate to bother you but just wondering if there is a hearing date for the 4 mos old (2018) case before trial on 7/24?
I have a hearing for the 2016 5 mos old on 7/24/20 to set trial date.

*Status Conference Hearing (for both cases) (@ CT) – TX – Infant (4 mos.) (July 12, 2018, San Antonio) – *Terrence Wayne Harper (30/now 31) arrested & charged (7/16/18), indicted (12/18/18) & arraigned (12/21/18) with causing serious injuries to a child (son). $150K bond, released.
Trial was set to begin on 7/24/20-continued.
4/6/20 Update: Status conference hearing was cancelled. Trial was to start on 7/24 instead status hearing.
Infant (5 mos.) (Mar. 12, 2012, San Antonio) – Rearrested & charged (12/19/18), indicted (12/17/18) & arraigned (12/21/18) with capital murder of a child under 10. $500K bond.
1/23/19 Update: pretrial hearing on injury to child case (4 month old). 2/14/19: Both cases have been combined to same dates. Attorney withdraws. 2/28/19: Bond reinstated @ $150K. 3/14/19: New attorney assigned. Next Status hearing on 5/24 to set trial date.
5/24/19 Update: Bond review hearing & set trial date on 8/2. 8/2/19: Reset hearing to set trial to 11/1. 11/1/19: Next status conference hearing on 12/9, and discovery & pretrial motions hearing on 2/4/20. 12/9/19: Next hearing for both cases on 2/4/20.
2/4/20 Update: Next status conference hearing on 4/6 for both cases. Trial has been set to begin on 7/24/20 for injury charges.
4/6/20 Update: Status conference hearing on murder charge to child cancelled & rescheduled to 6/8/20. And hearing on 7/24 to set trial date. 6/8/20 Update: Defendant’s exparte motion to appoint 2nd chair.
6/8/20 Update: Hearing for both cases on 7/24/20.

No change in the court dates. Weird that they're starting on a Saturday. Maybe it's a final omnibus hearing before starting jury selection? Remind me to check again tomorrow.
