I do not have in my notes that this was a DP case. I usually put that on there. Hopefully we will find out what kind of deal he made...

This crime is abhorrent and I agree with everyone that the world would be better off without people like this but the facts of the case lead me to believe this wasn't murder, just negligent homicide. It seems like this guy is a complete idiot who thought a baby would be okay in a backpack all day.

Man Killed Infant It looks like someone has insider information
The date is off by a year, has Jan 2021 but has other information regarding CPS And pictures of the father with the baby girl

I don‘t know what is taking so long here, the time for Covid to be the issue has passed, it may be due to an investigation of CPS?

Also says the family is pushing for a bill to protect children in danger where CPS has been called due to signs of abuse.

“Marion’s father, Emilio Montoya says, “We are just still waiting on a trial date, supposedly it got held up because of COVID.”

It’s been three years without Marion and still no sign of a trial or justice for her murder.

“Do you call it justice or injustice because nothing has happened yet,” said Sheliah.

Marion’s father says this is not the first time that the justice system has failed their family.

The last week we had her before she passed we called because we had seen some bruises on her leg, and I called the CPS worker and she told me she didn’t have time to come out and look at her today,” said Emilio.

Marion did not have another day.

“They didn’t listen to us, they didn’t treat us with respect,” said Emilio.

Now, three years later, all the family has left of Marion are her favorite stuffed animals, and the memories she left behind.”

What is?
He had many chances all day to give her water, food, make sure she was ok, and then render aid, he did not.
What did he think would happen?

I can only hope CPS is also bearing some responsibility- systems meant to protect children so not have the luxury to wait.

It would seem he would be haunted by what he had done- but that remorse and empathy may not be in his making.
We will see…
Many men have no feelings for babies, and especially for ones who are not their own.
This man had none even for his own children- why was she even with him, and not with her loving grandmother?
Her own mom seemed to not even care enough to keep her away from danger.
