Can not really tell whether Marano & Dykes have a hearing today. But I will go ahead & post them. Looks like the trial for them has been cancelled since they have discovery hearings after the 19th.

Belt Line Rd & Post Oak Rd in Wilmer, TX, 15 miles south of Dallas) - *Charles Antony Beltrán (31/now 33) arrest warrant out (3/25/21) for capital murder. Arrested (in West Jordan, UT on 4/1/21) & extradited (4/22/21 to Dallas County), charged (4/22/21) & indicted (6/14/21) with capital murder. $500K bond.

I was interested in the arrests in Cambodia. To my knowledge, Cambodia does NOT have an extradition treaty with the US, so how did they make this work?

What might apply to a political refugee, would not to an arsonist, bank robber or scary murderer of young women. Lack of extradition treaty with the US, in practice, means once a person crosses a country border, representatives from the US cannot pursue them. What Cambodians would do with them would be up to Cambodia.
In this case, Cambodia wisely decided not to swell the ranks of home-bred criminals and returned Dykes and Marano to the US. Practically, nothing could prevent Cambodian police to bring the two murderous ladies, to, say, neighboring Thailand which has extradition treaty with the U.S., deliver them to Thai police and call it a day. This would seem the fastest way, but maybe it was a direct process that involved more negotiations. JMO.
