Ms. Clement has a birthmark that looks like a bruise on her chin. She has multiple tattoos, with an "F" behind her ear and two big bows on the back of her thighs. Ms. Clement has a thin build and was last seen wearing a black thin strapped tank top and shorts.

Here is a link from the private investigator's site. Mercedes Clement still missing after car found abandoned

Mercedes Clement, 25, was last seen on October 11, 2020 around 11:00 in the evening, going into the apartment of an acquaintance at Koko Apartments on Empire Drive in Dallas, Texas. Mercedes was observed on surveillance footage entering the apartment of a male acquaintance. Due to a technical glitch, surveillance was not recorded between 1:30 am and 8am. It wasn’t until she stopped responding to phone calls and text messages that Mercedes' mother Alicia Gazotti and her family became worried. Mercedes’ car was found abandoned two days later, with her personal effects, including her wallet and keys, sitting on the front seat.

Mercedes had completed her phlebotomy degree and was looking forward to taking additional courses to get more certifications. She had friends and hobbies she enjoyed, like horseback riding. In addition to parents and extended family concerned for her health and safety, Mercedes is also a young mother to a 5-year-old son. While it’s true that some missing adults have made the conscious decision to disappear from their former lives, Gazotti knew that Mercedes would never just disappear and leave behind her child, “She’s a mom. She just missed Halloween. She never misses holidays with her son.”

While Mercedes has experienced difficulties with mental health issues in the past, Gazotti told investigators that in the weeks prior to her disappearance, Mercedes was making plans for the future, both within her family and with friends. “She has a pair of friends who are expecting a newborn baby, and for the last few weeks, she’s been posting all over Facebook that she was looking for a good car seat for them, and she was so excited to give them that gift after the baby was born.”

It is stated in the investigator's post that her phone is also missing. There doesn't seem to have been any new details published after the original story. A few questions:

What is her acquaintance that last saw her saying? When did she leave their apartment? I'm assuming she wasn't recorded leaving.

How far from the apartment was her car found abandoned? Was it parked somewhere in public or hidden from view? Are there any surveillance cameras in the area?

Who leaves a wallet and keys (presumably including car keys) on the front seat? Was the car locked when it was found?

When did she last communicate with anyone? Is information about her last phone ping available?

ETA: It's strange that there are seemingly no MSM articles about her disappearance.

That they don’t remember
Car was towed from the complex she was last seen at
Cameras “glitched” she’s seen entering the apartment but there is a chunk of time missing

DALLAS - In this week’s Trackdown, police are seeking information on Mercedes Clement, who has been missing for nine months.

She was last seen walking with a man across an apartment complex parking lot to one of the units at 2205 Empire Central.

Now, homicide detectives are working the case.

Family Pleads for Help Finding Missing Mother

Gazotti shared surveillance video with NBC 5 showing the last time her daughter was seen alive.

She says Clement was visiting a male ‘acquaintance’ at the Koko Apartments along Empire Central, off Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas.

Gazotti said she does not know what her daughter was doing there that day but has since found out Clement visited the apartment previously.

Clement was wearing a black tank top and shorts. She has a birthmark on her chin and several tattoos including a compass on her arm and two big boys on the back of her thighs.

Clement is 5’6”, 120 lbs., with brown hair and eyes, according to a DPS missing person’s bulletin.

Two hours later, there’s a lot of activity going on in the parking lot,” said Gazotti.

Clement was not captured leaving on surveillance video. However, there are several hours of video that could not be recovered, she said.

“My daughter’s things including her car keys, her bra, her purse, everything she had on her except her phone were put back in her car,” said Gazotti.

A spokesperson for the Dallas Police Department could only say ‘all avenues’ in this active case are being investigated.

Gazotti tearfully acknowledged she does not believe her daughter is alive and disputes any notion that she may have simply left on her own accord.

“My daughter wouldn’t leave her son,” she said.

Clement, she reveals, was also five months pregnant.

Parents refuse to give up hope in search for missing 26-year-old daughter

The detectives with the Dallas Police Department said they are currently investigating multiple people of interest, including acquaintances from her past she knew when she was involved in drug use. They’ve also identified the man Clement was last seen with as 36-year-old Tanner Losson.

"We've tried to question him and he's basically refused to speak with us," said Belew.

Losson is currently in Dallas County Jail on unrelated charges. He did not respond to a request for comment.

Details of Disappearance
Clement was last seen walking across the parking lot at Koko/Luau Apartments on Empire Drive in Dallas, Texas at 11:00 p.m. on October 11, 2020. She was accompanied by an acquaintance, Tanner Keith Losson, and video surveillance cameras filmed them going inside his apartment together.

For unclear reasons, the video stopped recording between 1:00 and 8:00 a.m. Clement has never been heard from again. On the night of her disappearance she had called friends, saying she needed a ride and was "scared." The phone disconnected and she did not call back.

The day after her disappearance her car was located abandoned, and was towed. Her purse and wallet were in the vehicle, the car key was on the front seat and her bra was on the passenger seat. Her cellular phone was missing, however. A photo of the car is posted with this case summary.

Authorities have multiple persons of interest in Clement's disappearance; Losson is one of them. A photo of him is posted with this case summary. He has refused to speak to authorities about her case. He has an extensive arrest record and was jailed multiple times after her disappearance on unrelated charges.

Clement left behind a young son, and although she has a past history of drug use, her family doesn't think she would have abandoned her child. Her case is being investigated as a possible homicide.

I have looked at this case before and again now, and it still rings loud to me that human trafficking is involved in some way, in my own personal opinion. Mercedes wanted no part of it, she was setting new goals for her life. There is most likely a high level investigation going on behind this situation and I hope that her family soon get resolve.

This is the first time I've heard of Mercedes missing. So many Texas females are going missing lately and I am looking into some I've never heard about.
