TX - Newborn left at fire station, CPS still not happy

Why would that be impractical? I drive by our local fire station about 5-10 times a week. When they are not out on a call, they are running through the routines. It would not be that difficult to add "walk the perimeter" to the routine. There is a whole lot of down time even with the training/cleaning/maintenance chores.

I work at a school, and I guarantee you we could put "check the perimeter" into our routine in about two seconds. You put it on a duty roster, post it, done. It would take less than five minutes. First one in, last one out on certain shifts would do it. There are already similar chores that the first one/last one in the building does in routine order each day and every week.

There are enough people in and out during the day that constant checking would not be necessary. You would really only need someone at the beginning of the day and at the end and maybe around midnight or so.
