Thanks, you too.

DDP will be how most of our Does will get their names back except for those few cases where they can't get more DNA from the Doe.

I'm so hoping one of Kandoo76's possible matches will be the right one. This young woman deserves to be known by her name and not her socks. Great sleuthing Kandoo76. :blowkiss:

She has been positively identified, there is a news conference tomorrow.

WOW, I really did not expect to see this news when I came onto Websleuths today. Amazing news! Can't wait for the press conference.

Yeah, DDP took her case on last year but due to the low quantity of DNA, it took a year for them to finally succeed with sequencing the DNA. The DNA has ONLY been on GEDMatch for about a month so one of Orange Sock’s close relatives must’ve been on there or DDP is just THAT good. Great job to all of the people working this case. It’s been a long ride. Maybe they’ll let us know more about whether or not Henry Lee Lucas killed her.

YAY!! I needed to hear some good news after catching up on a few cases over in the Missing Persons forum. One more family will get some information and hopefully some peace.

Press conference is at 2 pm ( afternoon) and I’m guessing it’s on central time since Texas is central time
