#APPEAL #URGENT | We've launched an appeal to find a missing five-month-old baby from Sutton Coldfield.
It’s believed the baby is with James Dempsey who is known to the child’s mother.
Dempsey is thought to have been driving a Silver Vauxhall Astra, displaying the registration NH05 OWP and this vehicle was last seen on the A45 towards Coventry, just before 1am today.
Extensive enquiries to try and find Dempsey and the baby have been on-going, but now officers are turning to the public for help to locate them both.
Officers are urging anyone who may have any information to call our specialist line on 0800 056 0944, or call 999.
We are appealing directly to James to contact us or the baby’s family so we can arrange for him to be reunited with his mother - or to take the baby to a place of safety, such as a hospital.
They could still be in the Birmingham area but it’s also possible that they’ve travelled elsewhere in the country which is why we are appealing to the public for help.
We would ask everyone who is out and about this evening- wherever you are - to please keep your eyes peeled for Dempsey.
We also need anyone who has seen the Silver Astra, registration number NH05 OWP since yesterday or knows where it is now to call us as soon as possible.
Please share our appeal so that it is seen far and wide because it’s our best chance to locate the baby and to ensure he is safe.
