Claudia Lawrence investigation
http://www.northyorkshire.police.uk/13147

It is now six years since Claudia Lawrence disappeared without trace in York. Despite the intensive efforts of the police, the resolve of her heart-broken family and saturated media coverage, her sudden disappearance remains a mystery.

North Yorkshire Police's commitment and determination to solve the case and bring closure for Claudia's loved-ones, is undiminished by the passage of time.

Detective Superintendent Dai Malyn, head of the force's enhanced Major Crime Unit, is leading a comprehensive review of the original investigation.

This has been supported by national experts from other forces and agencies, including forensic specialists who recently completed a re-examination of Claudia's home on Heworth Road in York.

As a result of this work, Det Supt Malyn and his team have identified new lines of enquiry and fresh public appeals to pursue, as well as renewed appeals on previous key items of interest to the investigation.

Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Mason, Head of Crime for North Yorkshire Police, said: "The decision to focus and prioritise the efforts of the enhanced Major Crime Unit on this case and undertake a comprehensive review of the original investigation, is producing progressive results which we expect to continue over time."

New Year new face. Hi I have been following this thread for a while but I haven't commented before so be kind to me if I get stuff wrong.
Going back to the beginning of the case, where are the original witnesses? Are they on here, hoping the case will solve itself.
One day this case will be solved but not until people say what happened, contact the cold case guys and tell them what you saw.
New Year, Find Claudia 2021.

Crimewatch appeal brings new witnesses
It states that post office cctv picked up a man around 5am with a black hooded top. So why hasn't this picture been circulated, maybe the general public need to see this.
This article is from 2010
Welcome SS nice to see someone new here
It’s a good question re hooded man was he identified perhaps?
I believe police stood on that road for several days to check on people who walked or drove along that route as a matter of routine .

Yes I understand they go to the location same time every day of the week after. We are creatures of habit.
I wonder which way Claudia walked in the days before she went missing. Is the dotted line where she went or where the police think she went.

I didn't post it for the video just the wording. I hadn't checked the video it was 10 years ago

Most of the time, I did move out of the area but have picked it up again now I have moved back into Yorkshire
Over the ten years there’s been many twists and turns - How do you feel about “The Nags Four”?

I'm going to be controversial here and say they didn't do it. No proof they did or they would be locked up by now.

Just because there not in jail doesn't mean there not guilty. Obviously this case is harder too arrest people as no body police need to have a very good case to go to court & after be 90% certain they have gathered as much evidence as they can. There's loads of murderers out there that police know we're involved but due to lack of evidence free to stI'll get on with there lives.

Does anyone know if any of the nags arrested smoke with their left hand and wear hoodies?
Smoking left handed means nothing I can do things left or right handed although I'm naturally right handed. Following in from post earlier. About people been in GL home that's from police who said someone had been in her house & people who we have questioned have been lying.

I'd like to think the police are doing the best they can with limited funds and staff. Given the lack of witnesses and sightings it can't be the easiest job or they would have solved it by now.
