Sorry I don’t think she was fearful ever .It was the others who feared for her safety .
It was obvious questions like “How are you managing without your car ? When are you going to get your car back ?” Would have been asked off her in every call. And she probably used it in every call to end the conversation “ Hmm I’ve got to go now because I have to get up early cause I’m walking “ IMO
No - I have to disagree.

Alleyman checks the area twice doesn’t he? Perhaps Claudia left her rucksack at his and he was returning it. First time no answer. Try’s to catch her in the morning before work but again no answer, as she is dead at this point. He’s not coming forward as he’s another married lover and doesn’t want the Mrs to find out but he’s not actually guilty of killing her. Just an idea
And did he become complicit because the killer was a drinking acquaintance who persuaded him that if he disposed of the rucksack and stayed quiet, his marriage would be safe?

Yet, Suze said she did not know how Claudia got to work eg, lift/walk/bike!

You mean he told the killer ( not necessarily knowing he killed her at the time ) that he had her bag and had tried to return it before the news broke ?

I was just looking at the nags Landlords, It appears GF and BM had the main shares in the pub, always thought JM. So GF was born in Bahrain and a expat, and his father was a fuel oil tycoon out there .Lots of information I suspected but was not sure on, but nice to have a little more background information on Close friends.Do we know what year Anne and George married? x

I was just watching George in his two different interviews. One regarding Claudia and other when he saved someone in York x

... but "best friends", who called each other "sister" (not knowing these details) .... odd. Then they were drinking buddies and nothing more, it seems. IMO

Yes, as I am sure if on and off the road,as a friend I would inquire or would have came up due to the bad weather prior.I know Suzy said Claudia would leave a card or flowers and Jen said Claudia would go out of her way to help her friends, Somewhere to live/vases/ jewellery hope it was both ways or I would feel very uncomfortable and less banter when reading “our knob” :(

I watched a programme on this recently and a criminal psychologist who analyses body language in interviews said involuntary shoulder-shrugging and head shaking (as in "no") can be present when the speaker can't believe what has happened. In this case it could be GF saying "CL is just a normal girl leading an ordinary life so I can't imagine why something bad would happen to her" etc. The alternative (and more common) interpretation is deception: that he knows something and is struggling to conceal it.
It should be borne in mind the police were crawling all over his pub and he was being touted as a possible prime suspect by the media. So his stress levels would be high and the body language could mean "I know nothing so don't try to pin this on me."

Is this the body language you were talking about a few posts back ?

Agree, I am back and forth with my opinion on George! was it George or someone else who claimed Claudia would see a guy in the bar, be rude and text in their company and get up snd leave for a bit of :/ Or was that another person? I do remember he left snd went straight to bookies across the road after been questioned, and I still don’t understand why George needed to go to Claudias as I am sure Suzy and peter were fine alone. Why George, ok good friend but.... He at least has a suspicion min imo x

I bet they all started looking at each other in a suspicious way after police saying they suspect a close friend ... bless them .
They are all victims until he is caught and he will be .

What reasons do you feel police have not arrested the male you suspect already? xx

because the times do not match for a start, then there's no cctv footage of her on the 19th, no sign of life, no texts or calls to anyone, you'd think if she left a vehicle she would be fearful - so why no distress call
Why did S.C post on facebook on 19th March this? My friend C.L disaphered on either 18th or 19th March 2009 she has not been seen since & the police suspect she as been murdered we continue to search for clues. S.C 19th March put this on facebook but yet not reported missing till 20th March any ideas?

As anyone ever owned a Samsung D900 phone? Does anyone know if you can text and phone at the same time. As on phone too J.L was also texting at the same time.

20.08-20.27 C.L texts with friends
20.04-2014 talking too her mum. I've looked up this phone and other phones and at that time does not look like you could do this.

At 3.30 18th March when childminder saw her did C.L still have her back pack. Could C.L gone back home and someone waiting for her just putting another theorie out there.
