On the mast radius at BM is the radius 3 miles rather than 3 km? Or is it only 3 km because it is directional? As has been suggested it does look like the phone data may now be analysed further. It does seem to be the only evidence. Also, is BSE mast the same radius 3-5km?

Going by the last CCTV footage of Corrie entering the HS area, hands in pockets, shoulders hunched...he didn't take his phone out his pocket and put it on top of one of the bins.

I reckon he went in there for a pee, or a bike, hence the looking up and down the street for anyone seeing what he was doing.

Still trying to nail that down, pesky techies. The last info I had was 100-200 metres to 3kms (BM mast). Link to follow.

does the ping mean a call or text was made from his phone?

"Image 8 is person on bike. Please note that it is just the cyclist that needs to be identified."

Interesting wording? Suggests to me the car driver is known or has been spoken to...and if so, DOESN'T know the cyclist?

Also notice NO cycle lights. That suggest to me that he and his bike are local. Minimum exposure to the authorities etc...?

Good question. I don't know but someone will. I think it still pings even when turned off though and it only died at 8 a.m. possibly due to battery failure or damage.

The camera rotates 9 positions in 4.5 minutes, 2 positions on Horseshoe. C was on cam going in so there was opportunity for him to leave on foot when the cam was pointing back up Brentgovel. Not only is it possible but that is only around a 25% chance of being seen leaving on foot or in a vehicle IMO. If he hasn't left then he must be still there .

What?????? I am so baffled.

You are always on this thread and based on your last few posts that you have written about CCTV and whether he could leave on foot or not it seems you have no understanding of it.

Either that or I am being dumb and am not understanding your comments.

Yes - of course he could have walked out of the horseshoe area (the area which he walked off camera into) without being seen on CCTV.

The rotating camera could have missed him walking out of there....

But he STILL would be stuck inside a small area in which all exits are covered off by CCTV. So no there is a 100% chance of him being seen leaving on foot.

Unless he left after 4pm.

Right third time lucky, I have spent the evening trawling the 12 road names I had for military quarters. None seem to fall in the 5km ping ring. If anyone knows different, let us know. So then I started looking at the location of the quarters in bury. If he were walking from flex to mamma Mia to the quarters, he was heading in the wrong direction. If he had arranged a lift, he could have been picked up at mama Mia's or the side of cornhill shopping centre. So why move, well if you are going to wait for someone to pick you up and know it's going to be 5/10 minutes maybe he said I'll meet you down the road (is it easier to pull in/spin round there than outside mamma Mia's?) He is trying to eat, knows he has 10 minutes to kill and sits down as he is dropping his food, dozes off due to being drunk and isn't really aware of time passing (perhaps doesn't particularly think he is falling asleep), he is sat in hughes at an angle where he can perhaps see if a car comes across to the horseshoe. Not realising how much time has passed when he wakes (how many times do we see the time, but still have to look again if someone asks the time as we don't really notice it) he wanders to the road by cornhill sticking to the left and spots a similar vehicle in the horseshoe in the right. This vehicle is empty and parked, but he mistakenly thinks it his lift and goes over, it's not, so he wanders back down the other road, what happens next I don't know.

Were his lights on in the previous image? Also it was stated he was "cycling around Cornhill" in the narrative with previous pic. Is this still near the grapes but now facing the opposite direction. I am just going by the triangular road sign on the passenger side. Also the MSM stated he was talking to taxi drivers (plural).

If the cyclist is a student or a seasonal worker, the person may not be still in the area either.

I can't personally see how a phone/sim card could ping without a power source. Remove the battery or turn off the phone, the sim card won't be pinging anything.

8am seems an awful 'exact' time for the phone to lose its ping/run out of battery.

I think his phone had an alarm set for 8am, or thereabouts.

Wasn't 8am when C's car parking would be flagged up for ticketing???? Perhaps he set an alarm on his phone for 8am and when the alarm went off, the phone was turned off/battery removed...by someone...?

I think it is right outside the Grapes facing toward Karooze/Abbotts: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.2...4!1sNL1nNzpjvdOPuc0OweXLVQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

The specialist RAF teams are joining police and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue volunteers to carry out line searching of wooded areas on possible routes Corrie may have tried to walk home.
so he can't have walked out according to the police (you need to link) yet this is from the Suffolk police page on the 21st October (after they had viewed the cctv) and yet they were still under the impression he could have walked out of the area. There are no other mentions in any othe LE comments about leaving or not leaving the area.

This story is from november 24 and N says the police watched video until 8 am. So if C left after 8 am after a long nap, at least as of this day they would never know. Perhaps that has changed since then. Someone asked about "running man". If you play the top video on this page at :54 I see "running man" i guess. He is in a grey hoodie.

not sure what time he is seen. It's not time stamped. Can someone who is familiar with running man tell us what time this was and if they ever found him?

I also cannot find any police statement that they can completely rule out he left the HS on foot without cctv coverage. Clearly he left somehow and they have no vehicle on cctv that they can proved contained him either. The camera covering him walking into the HS does cycle through other cameras, for example.

A person of interest that we've been asked to identify. There is a much clearer version however than this one.

How have I missed this, did I skip a thread or something?! Just checked it out on findcorrie, thanks for reposting, I'd have been oblivious!!

There were five new photos released but two of them have been identified from the new release so now we are down to three.

The guy on the cycle (new photo of him released talking to someone in a black car)
Guy in white Tshirt
Old man with glasses.

It was a few threads ago it was all discussed in detail as people even found the same tshirt and where you can buy it etc so you may of skipped. It goes so quick in here and we are on a new thread tonight.

It's on the police website. He is one of a few new cctv images police have released of people they would like to speak to. They are not "persons of interests" at least as I understand that term.

https://www.suffolk.police.uk/news/missing-persons/corrie-mckeague

“It should be stressed that these are just potential witnesses and it’s possible they may not be aware that they may be able to assist. We need to identify all those on the released images as we are trying to rule out all possibilities and therefore we do need to speak to you.”
