Not that I have seen, and there wouldn't be anything until a charge.

Ah ok, I wasn't sure if the media would find out a name and release it yet. I just wonder if they were known to each other or if it was a random attack. Not that I have seen, and there wouldn't be anything until a charge.
Yes I was quite surprised by that too.Bailed?! He was given bail after being arrested on suspicion of murder?!

I was thinking exactly the same! What a mysterious case.
It's hard to tell from the way the article is written. I took it that a second man would be someone different? Also, there is no local talk about this at all. It's a really small town with barely any crime let alone murders and no one is talking about it. What would the motive have been? Very strange and very sad...a woman is murdered in her own home and no one seems all that bothered? IMOI wonder if this is the SAME man?
Also, do we know what time the fire started? As then you could narrow down what buses were possibly on their route in the area at the time of the murder? Unless it took place in the middle of the night?
From above reports
Neighbours raised the alarm just after 9am after opening her front door and realising her home was full of smoke.
One said: “Her next door neighbour’s daughter came round to visit her mum and heard the sound of Linda’s smoke alarm going off.
“She ended up knocking on my door because I have her spare key due to her having locked herself out in the past.
“I opened the door and there was a lot of smoke. I don’t know how long the fire had been going for.
Officers were called just before 9.10am on Friday (June 11)
So around 9am the fire had taken hold and set the fire alarms off, how long would that take?
Would it be someone who has access to her home.
Or because she knew him or them she invited them in.
