The introduction to Lisa's own Facebook page reads "Reset. Readjust. Restart. Refocus. As many times as you need to". Hopefully she has simply taken some time out to do just that.

Ohh I notice she talks about her son with autism who had a recent emegency surgery plus dealing with her own health issues - just adds to the worry about her welfare MOO. Poor lady, I too hope she is safe and needed a breather.

The family of a missing Ayrshire mum have begged for their "beautiful soul" to come home.

Lisa Haining vanished from her house in Dundonald in the early hours of the morning one week ago today.

The 50-year-old has not been seen since her distinctive white Renault Twingo car was spotted leaving the village in the early hours of last Friday.

Her distraught husband, Craig, has today spoken of the "one in a million" mum whose disappearance has left a gaping hole in her family's life.

He said: "All I want is for Lisa to come home. She's a beautiful soul - very, very caring in both her profession and at home as well.

"Her whole life is her family and she's a very private person. She's one in a million.

"I hope she's with someone and sees this and can just come home and we'll take it from there.

"She's a very proud person who would be mortified at all this but at the same time we need her home."

Lisa, a nurse at Prestwick's Biggart Hospital, disappeared shortly before 4am last Friday from the Castle View area of Dundonald.

The mum to Gregor, 22, Emma, 19 and Ewan, 15, is described as 5ft in height and of slim build, with dyed blonde hair and darker roots.

Her poor family <sigh>. From the article above "The 50-year-old has not been seen since her distinctive white Renault Twingo car was spotted leaving the village in the early hours of last Friday."
Oh I wish they would find that car! Just one call from someone saying "I think that car they're looking for is parked at such and such address" would help so much. Praying for you Lisa.

Really sad news. Heartfelt condolences to Lisas family.
Around 4.20pm on Sunday, 29 January, the body of a woman was found in a car in the Leggatston Road area of Darnley, Glasgow.

Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Lisa Haining, reported missing from Dundonald, Ayrshire, have been informed.

There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
