My guess on this and it’s only a guess is that the guy arrested could have been SA by the victim. The choice of body parts left to be found is telling.

''The full horror of what was found at a Salford beauty spot tiggering a murder investigation can now be revealed. The human remains discovered at Kersal Dale were a lower back, buttocks, and thigh, all wrapped in multiple sheets of cellophane.''

'The victim is a male and thought to be "over 40". It is not yet clear whether he was killed in Salford or elsewhere and his remains left in the city. CCTV has been checked as one theory is that the killer or an accomplice with the remains may have arrived by car. The main Bury New Road, a major route in and out of Manchester city centre, is nearby.'

More body parts found, two men arrested were known to the victim and lived in the same property but were not related to him. Victim likely died at the property in late March. More remains were found in Blackleach Reservoir and also in Linnyshaw Colliery Woods, found by a dog walker.

I hope they manage to find all of him for the sake of his family.

I wonder what the relationship between the three was ?
It’s not a rented property as it was purchased a couple of years ago.
Interesting.

It’s number 195 - the front door has changed since Aug 23 looking at google maps street view.

I had a mooch on Find my Past’s electoral register and 3 men are listed as living there two 2012-2024, another 2018-2024. Various others have come and gone over the years. I’ll refrain from posting names in case I get in bother.

HMO maybe? Though 12 years sounds like an awful long time for 3 people to be living in the same HMO.
