Thanks Ann, you also need to provide an MSM (mainstream media) link. Here we go:

A man has been charged with murder after the body of a woman was found in a wheelie bin in undergrowth. Police have named the victim as 39-year-old Nicola Stevenson, from Lewes, although she has yet to be formally identified.

Richard Canlin, 41, of no fixed address, appeared at Brighton Magistrates' Court earlier. His case has been referred to Lewes Crown Court, where he is due to appear on Tuesday. Sussex Police said a 37-year-old man of no fixed address, arrested on suspicion of murder, had been released on bail until 12 December.

I've also added it to the UK index thread below. We get comparatively few UK cases on here and they easily get lost. As most UK members are subscribed to that index thread we try to keep everything listed in one place so members can see what's new and cases get more traffic.

THIS is the evil face of a man who battered his dogs so ferociously that he tried to cover his cruelty by claiming they had been mangled by a car.

Richard Canlin, 34, pleaded guilty to causing “horrific” cruelty to two dogs after one was found dead in his cellar and another seriously injured.

    [...]

Felicity Clarke, defending, said Canlin suffered from psychopathic tendencies.

She added: “At the age of nine or ten he was in care due to violence in the family and his parents were not able to cope with his behaviour. From that age he had been hearing voices and having blackouts.”

Canlin said that he could not remember what had happened to the dogs but accepted he must have caused the injuries.

A ‘psychopath’ who battered his dog to death and seriously injured another has been jailed for 23 weeks.

    [...]

Felicity Clarke, defending, said Canlin, who suffers from psychopathic tendencies, had learning disabilities.

She said: “He has the lowest capacity of intelligence. 99 per cent of the population are more intelligent than him.”
