On Monday night, police found body parts in a rundown house in the Barton Hill area of Bristol – and the number of suspects arrested in connection with Becky’s killing rose to seven as officers arrested two men aged 29, two men aged 23 and a 23-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Police were today given extra time to question the five, who are still being held in custody.

The Barton Court house police visited on Monday night after receiving information that Becky's body had been cut up is home to Jaydene Parsons, 23, who has a young son with her boyfriend, 29-year-old Karl Demetrius.

"Helping the police with their enquiries" is a polite euphemism in the UK and implies that you are under suspicion! It's not the same as reporting something dodgy that you've noticed, or responding to an appeal on Crimewatch. ...

This expression means that a member of the public is voluntarily assisting the police in the criminal investigation without being arrested.
