Plaque in memory of missing antiques dealer mysteriously appears on bench - and no-one knows why

This case is back in the news - in summary the body was not found under the bar, but the brothers still maintain what they saw, and even lodged a complaint against the police for what happened, which was rejected.

Now it seems someone, the brothers claim not them, put a plaque on a bench - saying : "In memory of Trevaline Evans Vanished 16/6/1990. Found - Rhuddlan GC 14/3/2019 Removed 19/3/2019 RIP". The plaque was there for a while, and defaced, and has now been removed.

It seems there may even have been some sort of vigil at the bench in a walkway, which follows the route of the former Prestatyn - Dyserth railway.

Thank you for posting the article, but seriously I am surprised that news media are giving any airtime to this nonsense. While there is no question that Halliwell have likely murdered many more than two young women he was convicted for, the amount of murders accross whole UK those two writers in past few years try to connect to him, without any solid evidence or even link, is simply ridiculous. It gives hope to real murderers in those cases that they might get away with murder and serial killer blamed. The same what is happening in Linda Razzell case and disappearance. While correct person is in jail, in her case her husband, half of the population due to news media believes fabricated stories around the case and also invented link to Halliwell. Of course based on all that her husband tried to appeal, and rightly failed.

But yes, serial killer stories sell and hey, their new book about Halliwell is coming out next month.

This is a new message on a bench, not the one from last year.

A cryptic and chilling messages about an antique dealer who went missing in Wales 32 years ago has appeared on a bench.
The message, written on a plaque, accuses someone of moving the remains of Trevaline Evans, who has not been seen since 1990 and says "justice awaits" the perpetrators.
It follows last year's discovery of a similar message on a plaque, also about the alleged removal of Evan's remains. Both messages say the remains have been taken from Rhuddlan Golf Club.
The first message was found on a bench 30 miles from her hometown Llangollen in Wales, while the second plaque appeared on a Prestatyn hillside, fixed to a wooden bench at an abandoned 200-year-old miner's cottage.
As reported on Wales Online, The inscription scrawled on the most recent plaque reads: "Justice awaits those responsible for the removal and disposal of Trevaline Evans (in this life or next) from Rhuddlan Golf Club on March 19, 2019 at noon. May the Lord have mercy upon their soul."
Last year's message read: "In memory of Trevaline Evans Vanished 16/6/1990. Found - Rhuddlan GC (Golf Club) 14/3/2019 Removed 19/3/2019 RIP". That was later removed by Denbighshire County Council.

Trevaline's story is about to be shown on the TV in the UK Wrexham Leader, In the Footsteps of Killers, presented by Emilia Fox along with criminologist Professor David Wilson and former detective Dr Graham Hill.

Not quite sure when, the piece in the Leader linked above says 3rd episode, with 1st shown 12th January, but Channel 4 list it as the 6th episode, but all dated 12th January - presumably all available for streaming from then.
