I have no idea what the situation is other than no official will state the reason for the lockdown. One of the news stations reported that they refused to state what the problem is. The facility is where the Army tests and destroy chemical weapons. I'm kind of irked as only one newstation reported this story a little after 8pm and the lockdown started at 5:24pm. There were about 1400 people on site when the lockdown occured.
I wish officials would state whether we should be worried. That facility and a few others is why we have sirens stationed throughout my town. I've been out here 11 years and have not seen a lockdown that they won't talk about.

Al Vogel, a public affairs specialist for the installation, would only say that the lockdown began at 5:24 p.m. Employees were not allowed to leave, and those coming to work were not allowed in. Vogel said there were no injuries, no damage and no threats reported at the proving ground
ETA: now people are posting Stephen King jokes......yikes.
