Yeah I was gonna highlight that but wasn't sure if I'd be going out on a limb or not.

I'm very interested to know the details behind the abduction. AM strikes me as being very street-smart and not naive enough to pull over for some jackass in a camo truck with a duck tattoo on his neck.

The Perp in this case was never a 'fugitive' in 2013. The FBI has been all over him like a bad coat since the Samantha Clarke case.

Yes, that's unusual... I think he could probably make the lights on top and the two small lights on front bumper flash in a way that mimicked LE lights.

We're discussing it because someone threw up a picture that has nothing to do with this case.

I can find 20 mugshots of persons with the same name...should we discuss them all?

The age, location, and being incarcerated are all WRONG. There is also a link to the perp in this cases criminal history. Feel free to go back through this thread. The proof is all there.

But all of those FACTS aside, there is no reasonable way to think that is a mugshot of this RAT unless he's had plastic surgery.

On her twitter page she mentioned "need a blunt" a few times. Didn't RAT get pulled over for possession of marijuana? Maybe he was her connect. She pulled into the parking spot to meet him (prior friends used to meet in parking lots to do the exchange (pot/cash). She got out of her car and into his truck.

Hi all! I'm new on these forums. I decided to register when I read some of you say "hi" to the many guests that were reading this case. It felt impolite to stay anonymous.
I want to say I really admire the way you are all so respectful towards AM & family and towards LE.

I haven't much more to add other than prayers to AM & family and the sincere hope that she will be found alive.
Also, if it is true that he pulled her over on the side of the road, I'm very hopeful that someone will come forward who can now recall having seen this. Praying for that also!

I'm also unsure about RAT being responsible for Holly Bobo's abduction. Darden, TN is pretty far from the Chalottesville/Orange/Lovingston area of VA- like around TEN HOURS away. Before Holly is considered as a victim of RAT, it makes much more sense to me to look at the many cases of missing women from around the Norfolk-Newport News-Henrico areas of VA (two hours or so from Charlottesville) in the past decade or so. There seem to be an inordinate amount of missing women from that area.


Just makes more sense to me to look a couple of hours away at missing women's cases before we jump to looking at RAT as a possible perp in cases 10 hrs away (Tennessee) or 9 hours away (Bloomington, IN where Lauren Spierer went missing). (sorry for such a long post)

Henrico is about an hour from Charlottesville, it's the next county over from me. Newport News and Hampton are about an hour and 15 from Henrico.
The thing about Newport News is that it's not a nice area... at all. Im not surprised at the number of missing from there at all. I worked in NN when I was living in a small town near there, and I got in and got out as quickly as possible. I never felt safe in NN.
Henrico has some sketchy areas, but not like NN.

I also did a Spokeo search and found a RAT that were all connected with 2 places in virginia (one being Lovingston) and a third being Charleston, SC. Not sure of the accuracy of these types of searches, especially given that all three of his names are fairly common, but if accurate, it would be interesting to know when he lived there, for how long, and if perhaps there were any missing girls with similarities.

Per the Hook article, he was in prison for 5 years sometime in the 90s (it doesn't specify the exact dates). He was serving time for burglary.

Might have to look this infro up someone on the news FB page did the work.Oh no could he have lived in Florida? And why am I not surprised

There's this too, with reference to AM's goal to purchase extensions. Not exactly across the street from where her car was found, but at the next stop light a few hundred yards down, is a Sally Beauty Supply, so if she made a spur of the moment trip to Chville, she could have accomplished her goal to get the hair accessories. Not that I can picture what happened, I'm still extremely puzzled, but if she did go to Cville instead before she got caught up in this mess, she was quite close to another hair supply place.

Kinda OT but I'm subscribed to WAVY's news feed on FB and I swear to you EVERY. DAY. they're reporting on some kind of death. It's ridiculous.

I have a lot of tattoos, some old and some new. I will say that the tattoo on his neck looks pretty aged. That's NOT a new tattoo. Weird

Just from experience, I have seen a mugshot of my family member posted on Vinelink that was actually from years previously from the current crime and reason he was presently incarcerated. Not sure why they would use an old mugshot, but I have seen it happen so perhaps the one on the right is from a few years ago.
