He did twenty years in the Army and exited an E7 ... after reading the job description of an 88H - disappearing a small four-year old boy would be easy.

Pommy, my oldest son exited the Army with a full disability. The pay is enough it allows him to be the stay-at-home parent to four young kids, while Mom pursues her Masters full time.

Cut from above post

Q: (couldn't hear the exact locations she was asking about but asked about specific search locations and what prompted those searches at those locations)
A: yes, where we search we have a REASON to search.

Rhoda, a local media person ask about a search at Harris Tetter and Starbucks. The COP confirmed they were visited.

Moo...
Had to look up Harris Teeter. Never heard of it.

Wow. Thanks for sharing that, Knox. Between the disability income and the home loan program, it's less likely that Cori had any income from criminal activity. I mean he could have, but it sounds like he was pretty well set. MOO

I just can't see staying voluntarily for a long time at law enforcement offices while thinking my child could be lost somewhere outside. I just can't see it.

I'd have to be either answering questions and constantly asking if I could help search, out there helping search, or caring for my other children at home.

He knew his son didn't walk out of the home- purely my speculation and opinion.

Let's put our heads together. What do we know about this man? This is just from two articles in the last several pages. I know there's much more. Help, please!

Do we know whether he is on any form of medication?

If he can afford Harris Teeter & Starbuck's and all those kids and a new house and car.- hmm....I am retired military after 20 years, one rank below his and I can't live on my retirement pay alone as a single person, it barely pays my rent (mortgage when I owned a house)

BBM
Bingo! This is what I believe is most likely. Cory was a person of authority, in the military and is smart. He probably didn't realize that he was a POI and thought he was being cooperative and providing info and working with them as a team to find his son. Think about this...he hasn't talked to anyone on the outside until this Lawyer shows up. He has no idea what info they have gathered, where all they are searching and what is being said. Lawyer says hey dummy they think you did something to Codi and you better stop talking. And out comes this story. I just hope LE has everything on tape. Especially him being read his rights. MOO

I'm really really curious as to what exactly his position of authority was.
But being cooperative for four straight days and nights, never once leaving the station?? No way. There’s no way, in my opinion, that any person is going to just be all “I’m good, I’ll just camp out here, in this police station, for four days and nights answering all your questions voluntarily while my other children are where?” This is unheard of. Most people tap out at 7 hours not four days and four nights in a police station. Something is off here, and LE best have solid cctv of those entire four days and best hope he’s on video saying “nah, Imma stay.” Otherwise, the whole case gets tossed. IMO.

Does it make a difference if you were honorably discharged on full disability?

"Something is off here...." Seems to me that our subject may have periods of odd behavior....do we know the details of his 'disability?'
