Omg. Look at that crowd. I predict a very loud hooray at the verdict. Sad for dad. Happy for justice.

:hourglass:T minus 30 minutes until verdict read!
Prayers for TA's family and friends!

I am in tears knowing Travis friends and Poquito are there.

Anyone know if juror five and juror eight are there also?

Real life has interferred today so I've missed the scoop....

Has anyone heard reports of how the jurors came dressed today? Really, I'm not being snobby (lol), it is often a big clue as to whether they expected to reach one.

Dressed casually--some in shorts and flip flops. Same as other days.

Katiecoolady is in!

@CamilleKimball Tanisha collecting some of her friends including @katiecoolady and Jake Orbin (from one of my books) #JodiArias

for my kids, at least their game isn't til 5:30 so I have time to get there. I've had non-stop mtgs all day-one right now at 4:00 but they all end at 4:30. Just in time for what I hope will be wanted news.

Tell them they'll have plenty because that's all they are getting for dinner tonight...lol. I texted hubby "Chinese or Papa Johns? You pick and order"

I think I'm going to lose it the moment I see Travis' family inside the courtroom...

They weren't dressed for an expected verdict.

They can't speak publicly until after the sentencing phase of the trial (assuming there will be one), so they didn't need to dress for the media.

Shana Hogan (author of future book on this case 'Picture Perfect') was just telling AZ Central that 90% of the people at the courthouse want a 1st degree murder conviction. There's only a very, very small showing of support for Jodi.

OUR HERO! :hero: :hero: :hero:

Seriously people. All hail !

Not kidding even a little bit here. Bow down to this man.

OMG! I haven't felt this way since the Laci Peterson case. I am crying and having an anxiety episode, but I don't want to take my xanax yet.lol

While the verdict was announced a song from Adele came on-Skyfall, the first verse is especially meaningful for this trial/verdict. Parts of it remind me of Travis and his family.

"Skyfall"

This is the end
Hold your breath and count to ten
Feel the earth move and then
Hear my heart burst again

For this is the end
I've drowned and dreamt this moment
So overdue I owe them
Swept away, I'm stolen

Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together

Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together
At skyfall
That skyfall

Skyfall is where we start
A thousand miles and poles apart
Where worlds collide and days are dark
You may have my number, you can take my name
But you'll never have my heart

Let the sky fall (let the sky fall)
When it crumbles (when it crumbles)
We will stand tall (we will stand tall)
Face it all together

Let the sky fall (let the sky fall)
When it crumbles (when it crumbles)
We will stand tall (we will stand tall)
Face it all together
At skyfall

[x2:]
(Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall)

Where you go I go
What you see I see
I know I'd never be me
Without the security
Of your loving arms
Keeping me from harm
Put your hand in my hand
And we'll stand

Let the sky fall (let the sky fall)
When it crumbles (when it crumbles)
We will stand tall (we will stand tall)
Face it all together

Let the sky fall (let the sky fall)
When it crumbles (when it crumbles)
We will stand tall (we will stand tall)
Face it all together
At skyfall

Let the sky fall
We will stand tall
At skyfall
Oh

When the skyfalls it will fall on JA

That song sends shivers down my spine. It was the background to a video of the devastation of the Jersey Shore last fall. It's perfect for today...

The jury questions we heard during the trial have me very hopeful. Maybe these questions were only from one or two jurors, but some of them no doubt made it onto the panel. I don't see them bending.

OMG I was away from home when my phone starting ringing off the hook and beeping with texts! Then a slew of client calls right in the middle of me trying to get home for the verdict - I am home now and anxiously awaiting justice.

I can only hope that the reason the jurors announced a revised schedule today of a 10:00 start time is they are actually planning to return after today for the next phase that they will be needed for :)

30 minutes... I never thought we'd hear a verdict in this case.

Casual clothes, shorts and flip-flops etc .. all good :)
