I hope we all take a little time today, to think about Travis, his life. All the things he has had to overcome. The friends he made. Many, many people thought very highly of Travis, and I will always believe he was a good person. He made one major mistake, and that was befriending Jodi Arias.
I am praying for justice for Travis and his family today, and am thankful that they had Juan Martinez to see this thru for them.
If the jury makes a big mistake, then that is on them. But justice always comes in the end.

Beautiful post, Rob. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm sure the Alexander family is beyond grateful that Juan Martinez has been Travis's voice throughout this long, sad ordeal.

Reports are saying all jurors are dressed casually. Ack!! My husband might win our bet. I said verdict today and he said verdict tomorrow.

But the trial won't be over if they decide on M1. They will still be under admonition. I don't take great weight in how they are dressed. If they are casual and come back with a verdict, I say it's gonna be M1. Woo hoo!

Possible explanation for J. Wilmott leaving the courthouse... If the jury is coming in to take one more vote on the verdict after having slept on it, then the verdict is still at least an hour off because JSS has said it will be announced one hour after it comes in. She's a defense attorney...so her office is probably near the courthouse. She just meandered back to her office to chill instead of enduring the insanity of the courthouse. Yes...this explanation makes me feel better. I'm sticking with it.

i know that there was one other trial i saw several years ago on some dateline (fatal visions) involving mormons again

I just got a manicure - was having difficulty picking a colour (when my mind is pre-occupied I get overwhelmed by smal decisions) and then it came to me - justice for Travis blue! It's pretty close the the WS 'reply to thread' banner colour). It may seem trivial but I'm superstitious and it makes me feel good to look at it!

Dressed down according to WAT, but they could go directly to guilt phase after verdict so want to be comfortable

please accept my sincere apologies for my little rant and melt down yesterday. There is something about this particular case that has gotten deeply under my normally tougher hide. When there was no verdict yesterday...well. No excuses. I was out of line and i'm sorry.

What I heard on HLN. Was that there were 46 TOTAL tweets ... with 4 tweets in the past 12 hours.

Still an increase to 4 in the past 12 hours (if this is true, I dont tweet) ... But I didn't hear 46 tweets in past 12 hours.

I agree ... Something needs to be done about inmates being allowed to communicate from inside jail like this.
1st amendment rights are one thing.
But technology has sped up light years since when our forefathers wrote these important rights.
Hopefully not this trial ... But down the road I can see tweets and other technology being used to influence juries, cause mistrials, etc.
This really needs to be addressed for future trials.

I don't think it matters how the jurors are dressed.They will not be doing interviews if its a guilty verdict.The penalty phase will begin..
