Amber Lynn Costello (who went by the working name "Carolina"), was last seen on the evening of Sept.2, 2010. According to her roomate, Dave Schaller, Amber had negotiated a "date" with a client that day for $1500 . According to Schaller, the client had phoned Amber 3 times that day, with the last call occuring at approximately 10:30 pm. Moments later, wearing jeans and a pink hoodie , Amber left the house. She was never seen again.

On the morning of Sept. 3, Schaller phoned Amber's sister, Kimberly Overstreet, concerned because Amber had not returned home from her "date" the previous evening.

Amber was never reported missing.

On the last day friends saw Amber Lynn Costello alive, she walked out of her North Babylon home with these parting words: "If my sister calls, tell her I love her."

Correction: An earlier version of this story included a photograph of a West Babylon home identified as the last as the last known residence of Amber Lynn Costello, a prostitute who was a victim of a suspected Long Island serial killer. In fact, the photo was of a neighboring home. The News regrets the error.

Members of an Internet sex forum hatched a "revenge" plot against a Long Island hooker who was later murdered and dumped in a serial killer's burial ground, the Daily News has learned.​

So her profile pic, based on her posts to "mongolia," was at least a year plus old when she was murdered. It is the same picture that has been used in all the news articles.

Yea strange huh. And the account seems like it has been spammed or hacked. The posts are like ads or something. On a whim, I requested a friendship just to see what happens.

I found 4 ads under 2 numbers (verified by ad pic) posted on various sites. 3 of the 4 ads were posted as a "sisters" incall. The fourth was a single with explicit pictures. While the "sister" with Amber has not been conclusively identified by the media, I have a pretty good idea who that individual is. And, if it is who I think it is, I am admittedly appalled by their behavior. Esp the "story" they gave to the media. Just sayin...

ETA ~ The two numbers backtraced as follows:

1. 6XX-639-XXXX <- maps to within 2 miles of the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal.
   
   
2. 6XX-624-XXXX<- maps to within 2 miles of Massapequa.

Back in January when they announced the ID of the 4 bodies, they identified ALC as being from North Babylon (not West Babylon). I made a guess that because of all the neighborhood complaints at the house they were renting on Atlantic Ave in West Babylon, ALC may have been picked up from a new rental in North Babylon.

I haven't done any digging on that. It really doesn't seem like a major detail, just that she might not have been living at the house where all the robbing issues were in West Babylon.

As to the sister, Kimberly Overstreet. If ALC ran into trouble in Florida, and from all reports on the web, it seems that at one time the two sisters both lived in the St. Pete, Largo/Clearwater area of Florida, when or did Kimberly O. actually move to or live in NYC? She said in an interview that ALC had financial problems so she got ALC a ticket and "brought" her to NY.

What was KO's connection to NY and why did she think it was a good idea for ALC to go to NY? There was a reference to ALC having gone to rehab but where and exactly when? Then it is stated that ALC got sucked back into prostitution and drugs. Wonder which came first...the drugs or the prostitution? Finally, articles say that ALC had only been in NY for six months before she disappeared. So, if that is true, then when did she meet Mr BB who said he'd been her boyfriend for six months. Did he come to NY with her (doubtful) or did she meet him as soon as she came to NY?

I keep coming back to that term "boyfriend."

Loose Time Line:
Sometime between 2006 and 2009 She worked as a "server" ... in between times when she wasn't working as an escort.
Until 2008: An Escort Referral Company, had the same address as ALC and her husband's home.
Dec 2009 ALC arrested for shoplifting in Pinnelas County, FL
March 2010 (Six Months before her disappearance) Her divorce is final to Mr Costello (Florida)
March 2010 (Six Months before her disappearance) Sister bought her a ticket to NY and "brought her" to NY.
Sometime between March and September She started dating Mr BB and got back into prostitution.
Sometime between March and September 2010 she did a short stint at rehab.
Sometime between March and September 2010 She becomes roommates, in the house in Babylon, with DS.
September 1/2, 2010 As she is leaving for a $1500 job, she leaves her cellphone, goes alone and says to DS, "if my sister calls, tell her I love her."
September 2, 2010 She disappears and NO ONE REPORTS HER MISSING!
Dec 2010 Her body is ID'd as one of the GB4

This may not matter but in this video clip of ALC's sister it appears as if she has a swollen bottom lip, right side looking at video, and a small scar above the top right side of her upper lip. It's just something that stood out in this brief clip.

ALC´s sister KO made money the same way as ALC.

She advertised along with her sister and also advertised solo.

I have both adds, and I have images of KO that prove that she indeed is the woman with ALC in their "sisters" add.

I will not post the adds/images due to that I belive that is violation of the ruels, but I´m willing to send them to a moderator if you need prof.

I have sent this info to Nassau County crime stoppers 4 days ago, and I told them that i havent shared this info with anyone due to that I thiught it might hurt the investigation, but havent heard anything back from them, not even a "thanks we recived your information", so now I post it here.
