DS interviews and starting to share more comes from a real place. There is a sincere and genuine nature to the way he speaks especially when you watch video footage. He is a strong guy that is holding back a lot of pain, guilt and blame and I know as a former male in the adult industry this well.

I have never seen this shared anywhere or talked about & I tried to get a hold of Kim Overstreet last year but she has been in and out of jail. It seems the death of her sister has really taken a toll on her as she continues to rack up arrests in the North Carolina prison system.

Amber Lynn Costello worked at an adult store about 1.5 miles from her home called ‘Tunnel Of Love’. I was hoping DS would come forward with this info but maybe she kept him in the dark from it. It seems she was very secretive. Her on and off boyfriend Bjorn Brodsky is a lifelong drug thugg from a wealthy family on Long Island and has never publicly come forward to talk.

The adult store I speak of for those not from Long Island is off a street called Edison Ave, otherwise known in the underground sex world here as the ‘Edison Strip’. The street runs along an industrial park of 15 blocks. Borders or in the middle of all this are 5 cemeteries and a massive town dump as well as many trucking and various LLC construction, landscaping, manufacturing and you name it facilities.

The blocks are alphabetical from A-O I believe and there are 5 of these adult type buildings spread out every couple of blocks. Some of them are swinger clubs, adult theatres or traditional *advertiser censored* video stores with ‘lap dance’ rooms. However all of them are fronts for prostitution and have even been open the whole pandemic until 3 or 4am.

Amber could have easily worked here without DS knowing so close to the house. Why? Well DS while talking bad about sex work in his LISK podcast and in Lost Girls was her glorified pimp and benefited from the money she made for his drug habit. The house in West Babylon they all lived in is/was owned by his parents. Amber could have started working at this store turning tricks and keeping her profit to her self. The going rate at these places is $200-250 for full service after a house fee. When she normally had to work out of DS home sharing profits. Also the street his house was on is a high traffic cut through block that SCPD patrol often as the neighborhood borders one of the highest crime African American neighborhoods, Wyadanch. The heat on the house could have had her looking elsewhere. DS said there were some rough encounters with John’s there and a few escort review forums called for her blood and said they were going to her home shortly before her death.
The cost of working at this club automatically brings John’s in without promoting and also no cost for a hotel room although Amber was known to work out of the Americana and Hollywood in farmingdale.
There is no doubt in my mind LISK is no stranger to the Edison Strip.
The SCPD out all the girls should have done more work regarding Ambers disappearance. She went missing on September 2nd and was found December 10th. That is remarkably quick and something the killer surely didn’t imagine. I believe she was identified in January the following month which a lot more can have been asked of the public but wasn’t. For reasons well we know and will continue to learn as the cabal falls down.
The theory of the GB4 is strange though considering it would have been after Shannon went missing all at once. The fact that Amber was even dumped there after Shannon’s disappeared is insane but living on LI I can’t recall many of any news stories from Shannon’s disappearance in May of 2010 until December when the bodies were found.

Unless LISK truly believed Shannan fled and lived; if he was even present. I am still of the "lost in the marsh" theory.

I’m an ex heroin addict and I used to hang out in Tompkins square park everyday (from 2008-2013) for those of you who don’t know, that’s a park in nyc les where lots of transients and drugs addicts hang out. I met amber through bear (Bjorn) , he used to bring her around. She was super sweet and always bummed me Newport’s . Bear would come around with out her and say she wasn’t his girl. I remember hearing about her death from him in the park and originally it was said by him that some trucker killed her & dumped her body. It wasn’t until a few years later that I really saw her on the news and realized omg… the horror of what happens to this poor girl. I started at the beginning of this thread and I’m sad to see that most links and articles are gone. I pray they find out who did this. None of these girls deserved what happened to them. I have hope they will find something.

Thank you. My conversation was after everyone found out she was dead, bear was in Tompkins a lot and even lived with some older lady in alphabet city for a while in 2012. But our convo about amber was right after her body was found and identified. People in the park were talking about it and I gave him my condolences and of course asked what happened (I had no idea she was tricking before this convo) he replied that some trucker killed her& dumped her body and at that point I’m sure he was just speculating .

My last interaction with bear was in 2019, he was claiming to be sober and had a new girlfriend . We hung out a few times in the park , I was sober as well. I never asked him about amber in private , guess bc I never really thought of it. It’s not even something that was on my mind until recently . Bear and I have lost touch and do not follow each other on any social media anymore. It’s for the better, he’s a fair weather friend .

If you look up & down the Ambers street thru google street view. you can see there are quite a few trees & at 10:30 at night, doubt anyone would have seen LISK park next to several of those trees while waiting for Amber down the street.

What was to stop Amber's roommate from walking down the street with or behind Amber and seeing the car? It seems to me that either LISK didn't know about Amber's living situation or there's something we aren't aware of regarding LISK's pickup of Amber.

Thanks for the update......interesting, I wonder how they found out approximately where LISK parked? If thats the correct parking location, Dave would have needed to walk down the block & around the corner, & being 10:30pm & dark out, I doubt anyone would have been able to see the license plate.

Ambers house had a decent size driveway where someone could park & wait, obviously LISK didnt want to be seen by anyone. Definitely odd that a customer would ask Amber to meet him around the block, especially at 10:30pm. That $1,500 was attractive to Amber, letting her guard down.

Yeah, I just finished reading the last part of the article.....interesting, because either some of the article was updated with new information or my memory isnt that good. Interesting. IMO David may not have mentioned preferring AC to not be picked up in front of the house. However, I can understand why he would feel that way. What it does say is that if she routinely met clients down the street, someone along the way had to have seen AC AT SOME POINT but not necessarily on the night she left with LISK. I sincerely believe we all see and notice things but may not feel it is important enough to put in the giant file in our heads. I think that is why a witness may come forward later in a case when details are brought to their attention. Also, eyewitnesses may/may not be reliable. Like many, I have been following this case for years. I find it hard to believe that no one ever saw anything. Unfortunately, the length of time missing, reported missing, and found makes it more difficult to find witnesses. Personally, I feel victimology is important to the case.

Dave said it in a podcast in 2020. When the john parked around the corner, he didn't think much of it. He presumed that Amber must have told him to do it because he didn't like johns parking in front of the house (for obvious reasons).

He mentioned it on a podcast in 2020. I'll try to find it because I can't remember the name.

Part of me wonders if LISK was a previous client. If he was, he may have selected Amber as a target because of this rule.

It wouldn't surprise me if this guy is a regular john who frequently saw sex workers.

The time between his kills suggests that he found some sort of substitute to satisfy his urges. BDSM, role playing, etc.

Originally, I started it as a morbid tourism website. But then I realized that it could be a vital info guide for certain cases.

Shortly afterwards, I started researching the LISK case and became irritated by the lack of clarity and consistency. I had to hop through mutiple news articles just to get the full story of a victim.

I've been writing about serial killers for two or three years on other websites. Mostly profiling-related stuff. I felt like I should try and do the victims justice by adding their locations and providing detail.

Seeing is understanding, imo.

I can ensure you that I do my best to make sure that these locations are correct. For example, I spent the bones of an hour comparing Dave's description in the podcast with Street View images and aerial images.
