I doubt there's any there, there, when it comes to this targeting MB because of her friendship w/Rita's daughter. They supposedly were friends back in Buffalo long before Mellisa went to NYC. That single FB post and the information provided was never corroborated by anybody else as far as I'm aware. My guess is It's just another example of overreach by armchairs and podcast detectives looking for dots to connect.

LISK didn't target Barthelemy because she knew Tangredi's daughter. He was clearly an opportunistic "regular john" who only struck when the circumstances were right. The Gilgo Four got into his vehicle by themselves. They weren't escorted to the vehicle by a friend, fellow working girl, or a pimp. LISK almost certainly picked up many girls over the years, most of whom survived simply because he noticed someone witnessing the pickup.

I think Bittrolff is a strong candidate, but the Tangredi-Barthelemy link is just coincidental.

There are coincidences in every case if you look hard enough.

He is my second choice for a suspect. My first choice might get me in hot water. What if it's someone connected to all of them. The drug dealer.

That's the feeling I've always had, that the killer is someone they all knew, be it a drug dealer, a john, someone in law enforcement who they'd all run into. They say, statistically speaking, that you're most likely to be murdered on Christmas Day by someone you know. Takeaway Santa Claus and that leaves someone you know.
