Guys I am posting this really fast to get it on the board while it's fresh in my memory, but I'll be gone for awhile. I wasn't planning on having any real new info to submit, just photos, but as life works in mysterious ways, read below.

Today I went down to the Shell station to get some pictures to help clear up some of what I had reported yesterday. I could hardly believe what happened next. It must have been fate. Guess who saw me taking pictures and walked up and introduced herself? Kara! (Kara as you recall is the mother of Lindsey's friend who sent her home that night.) So I introduced myself and told her where I lived and that I was taking pictures for a forum where we were discussing Lindsey's case. I told her there has been some speculation on the boards we were trying to clear up. She volunteered that she at first was blogging or posting on .com about the case, but later quit. (At least I think that is what she called the web site.) I wished I'd had a notepad with me, but I was totally unprepared for this chance encounter. The reason she stopped blogging/posting was because the kids were starting to read the forums and information about the family was coming out that they didn't want the kids to read. She did not elaborate on what that was and I didn't press her about it.

So needless to say I had a thousand questions. First off the hoodie and flipflops. She said they DID NOT find them as I was told by Shel last night. She said she thinks the confusion comes from the items the dogs were given to sniff.

So that lead to the next question, the scent trail. She said the dogs picked up her scent all over town because basically she in the previous days had been all over, so they don't give much credance to the scent information.

She said there was a text going around that they had found Lindsey's body. So many people believed it, they started taking down the posters for her. Kara said they are now trying to get those back up.

Kara said that herself and the woman from the Laura Recovery Center (can't remember her name, started with an A though) are told anytime the dogs go out searching and that they knew of no searches in the ORV park. However, they did say that LE was not being very cooperative with them.

I also asked about the other adults in the home. She said just her kids and boyfriend were there and not other adults as has been previously discussed.

So I asked about the pool too. It is NOT a kiddie pool like I reported last night. The pool they swam in is in a yard just SW of the shell station. It is one of the ones inflated with water that has the inflated ring on top. It looks to be about 12 to 15 ft in diameter and about 3 ft deep. The yard is very open. When I drove by I could see most of it. I did not drive around the block it was on because I needed to get back home and I was afraid I was going to forget all this info.

Some info on the woman from the Laura Recovery Center. She is from Oregon and her niece was taken in California some months ago. I think she said she is a volunteer here helping coordinate the search effort along with Kara. They are looking for a building or operations center here in McCleary. If anyone knows of one they can use, please let me know.

I would like to say that both Kara and the woman from the recovery center were very nice to talk to and they are trying to keep Lindsey's name out there and on people's lips. Don't think that will be a problem around here!

Oh. I asked about the camera's at the Shell Station. Kara said the one camera on top doesn't work and the other one is pointed straight at the pumps and doesn't even get all of them in the picture. Very poor system. She said nothing was on the tapes.

(I'll have to submit the pictures later. I don't have time to do it right now as wife wants to go to Costco and as a good husband, I am compelled to go. :doh

The public really is entitled to an update on Lindsey. If this is a legic abduction then the public has the right to be made aware of who or whom are the possible dangers. It is not right to allow this offender to strike again.

MY GOODNESS!!! How many times are you allowed to steal cars, drive without a license, and sell drugs is WA without getting locked up for a while!? This dude has quite a record and keeps being released to repeat his "mistakes"....SERIOUSLY, something isn't quite right here. Who's getting/keeping this kid outta trouble???

ETA: Any possibility that he's a relative of someone "in power" around there? Does McCleary tend to work on the "good 'ole boy" system at all? Would (for example) the sheriff be willing/capable of getting their kid off the hook easily (if the kid were a trouble maker)??

Is there anyway to find out if something was going on out at the racetrack the night Lindsey disappeared?
Were there out of towners around?
That racetrack has a strong following and the same folks follow the circuit to certain towns, just wondering if we should be looking at SO's from those other racetowns.

I won't say something wasn't going on, but races are always on Saturday nights at the fairgrounds racetracks.

I'm loving this post!!!!
I can totally relate to the "attention hog" thing....cause I've got two "attention hounds" of my own....and tend to think that this particular trait is much more endearing when it belongs to a dog rather than a human being.
I, also, have been reading at WS long enough to be VERY aware of the attention seeking habits that people close to a case tend to exhibit. Would list examples.....but I'm sure you ALL know EXACTLY what I mean....

Thanks. I try to take only so much info in at a time so I can report it more accurately. I wanted to talk to the Shell station owner, but I needed to get back home because the wife wanted to go shopping. I spent all my time talking to Kara. Why is it there is alway a rush for wives to go shopping? Hmmm that's a whole 'nother web site.

Anyway it was very spontaneous and I tried to think of all the things mentioned here on WS to get some good intel. If I talk to her again, I will ask about the bike.

I rushed out that info so if something doesn't seem to be very clear, please let me know and I'll try to explain.

Anything is possible.

But our system sucks. My brother was killed in 1996 (vehicular homicide) by a guy who had rap sheet taller than he was.. he got 3 years and was released early because of good behavior.

Our govenor is releasing inmates (even ones we have that are called third strikers.. which is supposed to be 3 strikes and you get life with no chance of parol) because of the budget cuts.

Just noticed today when I was on my way through town around 8am that the park and ride was actually in use...there were 9 cars parked there, the most I've ever seen. There were still 6 there when I came back through town around 5pm. I also noticed 4 McCleary PD cars in front of the station...and I can't remember the last time I saw more than 2 there...Just thought I'd share.

Oh...and the black truck was parked by the fruit stand again this morning...my guess is it's someone who works there or at the motorcycle shop...it's really old and beat up, not lowered, and no tinted windows...

Some information that may or may not be of interest to some here. I have tried to post only what I thought necessary:

People have been wondering about whether or not ML still lives at the already reported address, a few doors down from Lindsey. That address being correct, this is the possible ML home for sale listing (listed May of 2009). No indication that it has yet been sold (picture link below)

Anyone is able to check this out themselves and probably already have so I won't post links to my findings as full names are given, which I don't wish to post here.

It would be interesting to see if FL every had a "white" car registered to himself?

A question about location of "pools" and a comparison between a print screen from ML's MySpace along with the popular and common photo of LB hanging on to the side of the pool. I doubt that it is a house pool but could both LB and this child have been swimming in the same pool on the same day both shots were taken. Both look about the same age, a few years younger than now. I have not looked into the excact identity of the other individual. I simply decided to post this for reference for anyone interested.

Ok, talked to my cousin. He has been racing there for years. He said that they don't do practice runs on the track the day before. They don't have access. They can do a few warm up laps before any of the races on race day, but that's it. He did mention that last weekend they had a two day race that stretched from Friday to Saturday, but that's pretty rare.

There is a fairly new hotel there just across from the race track where many of the out-of-towner's stay for races.

Ok...that's about an hour and 15 minutes drive...home of a naval shipyard and ferry terminal to Seattle.
