10/27/17 update: Waived his right to a speedy trial on Monday 10/10/17. Fanning’s attorney Richard Woodrow told Mason County Superior Court Judge Toni Sheldon that his client was asked by a psychologist to undergo a neurological examination. He asked Sheldon to move the trial forward for the examination and results. That moves Fanning’s trial date forward to Feb. 13, 2018; trial had been set for trial Nov. 14, 2017; but again got postponed to July 10, 2018.

*Pretrial Management Hearing @ 9am PT) - WA - Nathaniel Rosa (31) (April 1, 2017, Belfair) - *Bruce Frank Fanning (59) accused & charged (4/5/17) with 1st degree murder with premeditation; shot by homeowner-victim in shower; plead not guilty; free on $250K bail.
10/27 update: Waived his right to a speedy trial on Monday 10/10/17. Fanning’s attorney Richard Woodrow told Mason County Superior Court Judge Toni Sheldon that his client was asked by a psychologist to undergo a neurological examination. He asked Sheldon to move the trial forward for the examination and results. That moves Fanning’s trial date forward to Feb. 13; trial had been set for trial Nov. 14, and again moved to July 10th @ 9am. Next hearing 6/25.
5/30/18: Found competent to stand trial. All dates are confirmed.
6/25/18 Update: Trial has been delayed. 6/25 hearing was also continued.
