MISSING: Yakima County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help to find 47-year-old Sunshine Gauci aka 'Jody Talbot'. She left her home in Yakima on January 15th. Her phone pinged in Carnation on that same day. King County Sheriff's deputies searched extensively for hours but did not locate her. Her phone has since been turned off or ran out of battery. Detectives are concerned for her mental health and believe she is in crisis. She is 5'06", 170 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair. She is driving a 4-door 2014 white Toyota Tacoma pickup with WA license #C08667M. Her actual truck has a canopy. If you spot her or her truck, please call 911 immediately. Her daughter is extremely worried for her mom's safety and is hoping you can help find her

Sunshine Gauci is a veteran who has PTSD. She sent goodbye letters to her family. They are very worried about her. There is little or no news coverage on her. In FB post comments, her daughter said one of her favorite places to visit is Mount Si near the area of her last GPS location. She also likes Mount Hood in Oregon. Her flyer says she could be in the west side of WA or OR. She has a business page on FB called Photography by Sunshine. Her family could use help getting her information out in Washington and in Oregon.

Correction: reading back through some comments, from her family and friends, her favorite places mentioned there were Mount Si and Mount Peak, which are both in WA, not Mount Hood. The flyer does say she is known to travel in western WA and in OR.

Sad Update: 47-year-old Sunshine Gauci aka 'Jody Talbot' has been found deceased in Yakima County. There is no foul play. She left her home in Yakima on January 15th. Please keep her daughter, friends and family in your prayers. I will be removing this post later today once everyone has seen the update out of respect. Thank you for your compassion and willingness to help
