I am not saying that she was or that it has any bearing on the case but theoretically children with developmental difficulties may be more at risk to be harmed by the people close to them or to wind up dead in accidents, possibly after neglect. They also might be more vulnerable to stranger danger in certain circumstances but it may not apply in this case since any toddlers sleeping in their beds are pretty much equally defenseless and unless it was someone who had watched the family for some time a stranger wouldn't be able to tell which sleeping children are autistic or not.

Autism might have a bearing on what happens to a child after the abduction, say, if the child is taken by a childless couple who find her too hard to handle and can't seek professional help for obvious reasons, or if the abductor finds the child's disability a bonus because there are difficulties in communicating her plight to others etc. .

But obviously if she wasn't autistic it's not relevant in any manner so the theoretical possibilities leave us at the starting point.

Their refusal to take any responsibility at all is what has turned most people against them.

I am not kidding.

These words came out of that mans mouth.

The really astonishing thing is that they were given a forum, over and over again, to burble their self serving bs with barely one question being asked or one statement challenged.

They have been treated like royalty, by everyone. And if they weren't, well, they sued for libel.

andthey have used that money not for the search but mostly on lawyers and trying to sue and destroythe policeman who coordinated the investigation wanting him bankrupt and as the saintly KM says in her book to be miserable and feel fear cos he deserves it!!! Like he was the only person that penned the police report that stated they believed it was a fake abduction call and that they had concealed the body.

their attempt at banning his book which detailed the investigation and was stated by the appeal court to which they applied after they overturned the initial ban granted to them, to be a factual book, was an epic fail, i predict their libel actionto get a million euros from him will also be an epic fail, nice priorities

Not forgetting they are suing some ex lawyer tony bennett for daring to question their version of evenys and if he loses he has to pay a load of money for the mccans lawyers thereby potentially making him homeless and bankrupt too
