Ive been wondering that for ages and was too (shy?) to ask!
Thank you secrett...I appreciate the quick reply.
Deleted post, wrong thread.
Thanks, this is most helpful!
I don't get it, and now I feel very slloowww....
Also, what does GOATing mean? It seems like going through all the posts or something.
what does the thread title *UNDER REVIEW* mean?
I think it means....when the thread gets a little out of hand with things not supposed to be talked about or members arguing amongst themselves and the MODS shut it down for a little while...they go through it, clean it up and reopen it if they believe we can behave ourselves now a MOD can tell you the real meaning...but I am pretty sure that is what it is...they may also put that when they are getting ready to close down one thread which has gotten very long and they are starting a new one!
Camdenres was pretty spot on.
A thread is locked or pulled for review for different reasons. As Camdenres said, sometimes it is when there are violations of TOS and rules, or members start bickering and we need to remove posts escalating the arguments....other times there may be sensitive information posted that does not need to be made public.
Sometimes it is because we have concerns and we have been mod short and just need to pull the thread and make sure all is on tract and factual.
Under our names it says: Admin, Mod, Registered User, On Time Out, member...
What is the diff between member and registered user?
And what is with the emus?
