Why Titanic Sank?

This is too weird

My DH and I will be on a New England/Canada cruise next week and have booked a tour of the Titanic Museum in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Just saw this new report on my Comcast homepage:

Wow, wasn't expecting that! I wonder if it is a well known fact that you shouldn't keep traveling, to slow down the process of sinking?

I have always been fascinated by the Titanic. The Titanic museum was incredible. Very interesting and moving.
