Identified! WI - Ashford, I-41, Wht/HispFem 15-21, 764UFWI, in creek, Nov'08 - Amy Marie Yeary

From article at fdlreporter.com:

"The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Department will soon reveal statistics and clothing of the "Jane Doe" homicide.

Sheriff Mick Fink said a press conference will likely be held before Christmas to help identify the woman's body found the morning of Nov. 23 in a wooded area behind W4617 Skyline Drive in the town of Ashford.

"We were able to replicate all of the clothing that she was wearing," Fink said. "We bought it directly in the same size, the same (brand)."

Just an observation here. The body was found in Wisconsin on Nov. 23rd....brrrrrr! Those clothes don't appear to be winter clothes. (Particularly the top) Then they were able to "buy new" the "exact same size and brand" apparently off the rack. In November? Very interesting. One report said dead only months, not years. So, yes that person would have been wearing those clothes (possibly NEW) from say August/September. That top makes waaaay more sense to be worn in say, August. And I doubt that last year's top could have been purchased off this year's rack, soooo my guess is that was a new purchase from a store sometime in the summer of 2008. Wonder what store they got them from?

I know that this is doubtful because of the distance but I think the composite looks a lot like this girl -

This one is also doubtful because of how dark her hair is but people can dye hair -

This girl is from Milwaukee -

Another girl from WI but she was missing since 2005 -

As far as missing from WI, I think Ariela Maldonado is the best match I've seen so far. Her facial features seem to fit the JD the most. She hasn't been missing that long, 5/08. Have you submitted it? You'd think they'd be checking it, since it's on their own missing pages, but who knows? Her hair looks darker in the picture, but again, that can be deceiving. It's also interesting that in the picture her eyes look blue. Were they able to determine eye color, if so I missed it?

AFAIK they didn't mention an eye color. I haven't submitted any of the girls I found but if anyone thinks they are a good enough match please do.

Does anyone else think that one of the girls I found could possibly be a match? I still haven't submitted anyone but if someone thinks that one of those girls is a match please feel free. I'd really like to give this girl a name.

I looked at all of these, but I have to say I do not think any of them are a match.
The girl found was very petite and slender. And blonde or maybe dark blonde... nothing said about hair being dyed.

It is hard to imagine a girl that age would not be missed and reported missing.

Her Porchlight thread contains text from a now-deleted article, published 12-24-08 on TheNorthWestern.com (Oshkosh, WI newspaper site):
http://z10.invisionfree.com/usedtobedoe/index.php?showtopic=40979

Detective Charles Sosinski presented a mannequin dressed in the exact clothes found on the woman. He said the Angels blue jeans — currently available for purchase — would typically be found at a store similar to Kohl's and the strapless Zoey Beth top — with a pink bow on the back — could be purchased at Family Dollar. The girl was found with no shoes or socks.

Once this article came out last year I kept an eye out for the top at a few local Family Dollars. I never found it, but I did see lots of other summer clothing on the clearance racks. So it's believable, IMHO, that LE was able to buy the same top in November or even December.

I imagine her footwear might have been sandals and they floated away in the stream. ETA: Sandals or some other type of slip-on shoe would be the most likely footwear to wear with cropped jeans like those.

The Fond du Lac sherrif's website says they think the body was there in midsummer to fall, so the clothing is about right.

They do both fit the available description. Piercings may not be relevant; for one thing, they could have closed up between going missing and being found dead. Also, since the body had been there for a while, they might not have been able to determine everything.

Time and distance both make them seem like long shots, but if the UID was missing locally, they'd have figured it out by now. Go ahead and submit it.

Another article at
http://www.fdlreporter.com/article/...later-police-still-seek-dead-woman-s-identity

"The woman was 5-feet, 1-inch tall, give or take three inches, weighed 110 to 135 pounds and had light brown or dark blonde hair cut 10 to 12 inches long.

She was wearing Angels blue jeans and a spaghetti-strapped Zoey Beth top.

Forensic anthropologist Leslie Eisenberg noted that the woman was knock-kneed, pigeon-toed or both. Fink said the woman would have had a distinctive walk that will hopefully help identify her."

CONNER,

Did you ever submit the possible matches of Ashley Martinez and Diana Mazariegos?
