After polling the jury, the judge asked him if he was satisfied with the polling, and he said no. An a-hole to the very end.

He complained about being called a monster, but that's what he is. His closing statement showed he has zero empathy for his victims, all he was sorry for was him and his family, as though he is the real victim. No words...

I think the jury decided verdicts last night and spent this morning filling out the forms. JMO
Someone said it was approx 3hrs of total time..they convened at 830am they read the verdict at 11:45cst what time was it announced that it was in? Last night was about 1hr 45min.. I think the forms would've been time consuming. Definitely wasn't far off from it last night. I thought so with the first three items requested by the jury last night... they spoke to intent, wrecklessness and battery.

I read today that the total time spent deliberating was at the 2 hr and 40 minute mark. Which, coincidentally is about as much time as it took the Judge to read all the charges yesterday..

If it pleases the court with all due respect, as adjudicated by a court of competent jurisdiction in common law or admiralty law it was proven for the record and accepted for value, that the alleged defendant has been allegedly convicted of all counts. Is that fair to say, for the record?

Grounds?

I feel the need to put this on the record, but during DB's pitiful performance yesterday, while giving his closing argument, I indeed spit out a big gulp of Mega Pint contents all over my screen...when he said this:

"I cut my baby's unbiblical cord"

I completely lost it

Simply put he is a very ignorant monster of a man. His mother SHOULD hide.

Gardenista - I changed the number to 61.

Who was called to testify as to the injuries? At first blush, it sounds an awful lot like hearsay.

I would have called them all as well as the doctors, surgeons and medical examiner to put a triple nut lock on damages.

I wasn't impressed with what I saw of the dark haired DA anyway, but every lawyer gets to choose their own trial strategy.
They played the videos of all the victims who were run over by his SUV. I wouldn't need to hear from the teens who were injured, if I saw them being hit or run over by the tires. I take that as solid evidence of their injuries.

Waukesha Parade Tragedy

On November 21, 2021, during the annual Waukesha Christmas Parade, tragedy struck when a vehicle drove through the parade route, killing six and physically injuring more than seventy others. Hundreds of others were left with mental and emotional scars as they witnessed the horrific events that unfolded.

Since then, the community came together after that event as Waukesha Strong and continues to take steps toward healing, including working to create permanent memorials.

After months of debate, for both memorial locations, the 13-member commission voted for Thrive Architects. For Grede Park, their design features a "Heart of Unity" with six ribbons representing the six victims coming together to form a heart. For Main Street, their design features a Waukesha Strong heart at the Five Points Intersection.

This trial was the most exhausting and difficult trial I've ever watched.

If not for the humor on this thread, I would not have managed to endure DB's self-righteous blabber.

Edna and her strawman boaff say... "Thank you to all funny people and lenient mods!" ;)
