I feel like Nancy--always ready to try the key. Yes, I watched the videos. Hmmmm. Nothing even remotely pornographic but creepy as all get out. I'd be very interested in other people's take on them. He made them at 5:30 and 6:30 in the morning and just kind of rambles. They start off with a little "house" music and odd special effects--negative images stuff. He seems reasonably well-spoken (uses the word, ambience) but tries on different creepy voices and personas. Lizarone is pronounced Liz-a-roan and he says that the producer is Professer (sic) Rubberten and Claeroma (not positive about the 4th letter--it's written on a blackboard). He also mentions that he has an art exhibit opening on April 1st at the Superior Library and encourages his viewers to go see it. He says that there won't be any shows during Easter break. He does talk about cuing up a show (mentions wrestling and cars) and all I see are introductions. Maybe there's something I'm not seeing.

I pinky promise that there's nothing untoward. But it is freaky.

Nancy Drew herself couldn't make this stuff up.

Different creepy voices? Spookums the cat?

An art exhibit? You know I'm going to try and find that stuff.

Wrestling and cars? Where the heck did he find the time to exploit little girls?

He got up early in the morning, Filly. My guess is that he was done with his Lizarone Show by the time he planned to stand outside and greet the children as they left the housing development and walked to school.

It's interesting as in a couple of FB photos, he looks almost handsome--in a rugged sort of way. Then, he seems to change and begins to look sick and gaunt. He mentions bad allergies in one video and blows his nose. I wonder if he could be HIV positive or have another degenerative disorder. I don't see a thing about work and he seems to live in public housing so I'm guessing that he's on disability. His speech and vocabulary remind me of my kids. There are peaks and valleys. That can often be a sign of prenatal drug exposure or FAS and someone who's had good schooling or stimulation and socialization from family. His writing style is similar to his speaking style. Lots of problems with conventions but it's still at a higher level than many with DD. He certainly has a lot of friends and many of them write to him. It's not like he's just collecting names.

A real conundrum.

Lizarone has been to court. Odd that there are still no charges. I'm still unclear on how a man can be held so long without charges. Does anyone know? I also wonder if these images were downloaded from the internet or photos taken by Urbanski.

Superior Man in Court on *advertiser censored* Charges
August 10, 2011

"A Superior man appeared in court today for a preliminary hearing on felony child *advertiser censored* posses ion charges. Two serious pieces of evidence were presented against 47 year old Timothy Urbanski..."

"...Sergeant Nicholas Alexander, commander of the Lake Superior Forensic Technology and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, showed the judge two pictures of young girls. One picture was of a child 5 to 7 years old, another was of a girl 12 to 14 years of age, both reportedly naked and in provocative poses. Sgt. Alexander testifyied that Superior police had taken the pictures from Urbanski's home and that police confiscated 42 printed images of child *advertiser censored* from the master bedroom of Urbanski's home...."

I didn't tell you, did I? I forgot to post about an older Lizarone show I found. Oh, it was the creepiest. He said that the had to go to England and he took Spookums. Spookums road in cargo. He said there was turbulence and the plane went one way and Spookums went the other. He even demonstrated with his hands.....the splat. He said that Spookums was buried over in England and that Lizarone had been to visit some of his "ghoul-friends" (wink-wink) over there. Then some discussion about bringing Spookums home.

Personally, I think Spookums is good ol' Sampson, the big cat seen in the videos. I have no doubt he did pass as many people sent sympathy notes. I doubt that Urbanski hurt him as he seemed quite attached to him. Sampson might have been a draw for the children, in fact. I'll bet Halloween at this guy's house was a real hoot.

Can anyone find any local comments on this case?

I saw this as well! I just peeked at his FB today as it's the first time i've seen this thread. The only thing I can think of is they really have no idea. IT makes me wanna post something but I don't want to be that crazy person ranting and raving on peoples pages. I mean surely though his family knows. HIs closest friends must know, I mean, right? and if they DO know, what does that say about them?!

I can't figure out how he came to know all these people--lots of nice-seeming folks. When I posted that update, there was a video and his story was the lead news story of the evening. That leads me to believe that many people may live elsewhere.....possibly students he met through the on-line art class. But he has a reasonably unique name, one would think that someone would get wind of the arrest. And what's up with family not knowing. Surely that can't be true. Being that he was such a frequent FB poster, I'd think that someone would have checked in by now.

It makes one pause about making friends through social networks, that's for sure.

Missizzy, it's sloppy reporting. Charges have been filed, you can check at the following website: http://wcca.wicourts.gov/index.xsl . Looks to me like 10 counts of possession of child *advertiser censored*, that he's still in custody (even though his street address shows, there's no record of bail being posted and that generally shows up on CCAP), that he had a preliminary hearing, and the October court date is an arraignment (basically a formality, often but not always done at the same time as a prelim/waiver of prelim--more or less, it's a formal reading of charges).

Man Pleads Not Guilty to Possessing Child *advertiser censored*
October 10, 2011


"A Superior man accused of possessing numerous images of child *advertiser censored* pleaded not guilty Monday. 48-year-old Timothy Urbanski appeared in court Monday morning. During Monday's arraignment, the district attorney's office filed more charges against Urbanksi. He now faces ten counts of felony possession of child *advertiser censored* rather than the previous three...."

Not the way to go about it Mr. Urbanski. His FB page is still up but I don't see any personal messages since early August. Maybe the family and friends have finally figured it out.

Superior Man Federally Indicted in Child *advertiser censored* Case
January 25, 2012

"A Superior man was indicted in federal court on Wednesday for possession of a DVD containing child *advertiser censored*. Timothy D. Urbanski entered a not guilty plea in district court for the case in July 2011 for up to 10 felony counts of possession of child *advertiser censored*. The Grand Jury indictment states that Urbanski is charged with a DVD+RW containing visual depictions of a minor engaging in sexually explicit content. The indictment alleges that Urbanski possessed the DVD on July 26, 2011.

Urbanski, 49, allegedly told police he was downloading child *advertiser censored* only because he wanted to clear it off the Internet...."
