Lisa Thomas murdered 700 metres from her home. Found in bushland. October 7th 1974 Rockland New York. Less then 2 weeks before he was arrested for parole violation.

She has plausible-looking hair in some pictures. She was a 15 yo girl who went walking to a mall and was found dead in the woods the next morning by her father.

Alcala had a habit of going to NY, but so far as we know he was in California then. The helmet and motorcyle don't work. (But maybe they're his?) I would put Helmet Girl older. She's done some ballet and knows her way around a motorcycle. Probably not Lisa.

Could she be Linda Pagano? She went missing in 1974 when Alcala was out of prison. 1 September 1974, Ohio. She was very petite and 17. Can't link pics now but there are two on the inet, one full view in bikini and one of her face. There is a thread here about Linda.

I came across an appeal court document from 1984. It's kind of horrific as it describes the known attack and murder at that time but it also mentions two girls that encountered him and survived. One of them took photos with RA in the wilderness before he attacked her. Do you think this could be Monique H. Does she look like a well developed 15 year old? Or maybe the other girl in the woods?

According to defendant's taped confession, not challenged on this appeal, he picked up Monique H., who was hitchhiking in Riverside County on February 12, 1979. Monique was a well-developed 15-year-old. The two drove to defendant's residence and spent the night together, engaging in consensual sex. The next morning, they went to some mountains, where defendant took pictures of Monique in the nude, and of the two performing simulated sex acts together. At some point, Monique became frightened and began to scream and struggle. Defendant tied her up, stuffed a T-shirt in her mouth, beat her unconscious, and raped her vaginally and anally. He said he had not planned the violence, but was "incoherent" and frightened about a situation that had gotten out of hand. Ultimately, he drove Monique back to civilization, where she notified the police.

This girl is no longer shown in my most updated list of "still missing". This doesn't hold much water because it only means that she has been discovered to be alive, or dead. And, we won't most likely know the results of this until possibly after Alcala dies.

Her disappearance is a year too late. Alcala was arrested for the Robin Samsoe murder in 1979 and has been under lock and key ever since.

Because somebody was photographed by him doesn't mean that he had anything to do with his/her disappearance. It would just be a strange coincidence.

I think it's a necklace with 3 large beads and tassel.

Girl at Woodstock festival 1969 looks a lot like our girl. Even the guy in the background resembles Alcala.

There is a good resemblance when straight on. Hmm....Boston area, lots of trees, I could see Alcala hanging around Arnold Arboreteum..... The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University

Lots of things about Leda match well. Can't rule her out, but to me her cheekbones, jawline, and chin look a little stronger, more angular and less soft than Helmet Girl's. Too bad we don't have color.

She's definitely more rounder in the face. But the teeth match up for one. I emailed Murdersquad. I'm leaving her alone.

Btw I looked her up in a yearbook. Her face there is much rounder.

Helmet girl has particular upturned mouth corners just like Leda.
