For a̶r̶g̶u̶m̶e̶n̶t̶'̶s̶ discussion's sake, I tried to make this photo of Brian as crappy as the trail cam footage. I personally don't think it's him because the nose appears turned up, the ears look smaller and his facial hair doesn't appear as prominent. Brian also has a pretty significant amount of dark arm hair that I would imagine could appear darker on the trail cam. I also don't see him carrying his backpack on one shoulder like he's going to high school - I think he'd go with the two-shoulder approach, especially if he was doing a major hike like all the way from North Port to Baker, FL.

What do you guys think?

Yes, agree. And that guy looks heavier, less chin, and appears to be in jeans, which would not be BL's choice. BL also doesn't seem the one-shoulder backpack type, either.

I really can't get my head around what he was doing out there near where her body was found.

I'm reading a lot of things on these threads from people thinking he's some master planner, strategically trying to throw people off his scent by creating fake alibies, hitchhiking multiple times, driving 2400 miles in 36 hours, lawyering up immediately without saying a word to anyone, slipping out in the dead of night to leave his house, and evading capture with all of 2021's technology looking for him....so here's something to consider:

Why did he leave her body out in the open, uncovered, 100% would have been found within a short period of time, when he had a literal body transport vehicle they were living in? If he really was as smart as you people think he would have put the body in the van, drove it somewhere that they WERE NOT, in a different state, and left it there, pushed it into a body of water, something. A "sociopath" wouldn't mind a few hours of driving around with a body in a van right, for self preservation? To me it looks like he put ZERO effort into covering up what he supposedly did.

So how do you reconcile his genius master plan with leaving her body there? Makes no sense. Something happened to her, but I honestly do not think he purposefully hurt her. Something does not add up. Get out your pitchforks again, I know, have at it.

I think he thought she would be found right away as well. I think that's why the weird hiking/hitchhiking encounter happened. He was trying to create an alibi for when she was found and he was away from the van. When it didnt work out, he thought maybe she wouldnt be found. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

I really feel they are looking for his body and not a living Brian. And someone left a comment for WFLA live saying bring dog the bounty hunter out he will find him, and JB and Walt are talking about k-9s lol. wrong dog!

My gut still goes to where the photo was taken with his nephew. It tagged the reserve. Can’t post image as it includes a minor.
Yes! Someplace meaningful. Can you tell me where it's posted so I can look for it,? SM or here on WS?

2 mins 16 seconds into this video, he is wearing his backpack over both shoulders. It may only be worn that way because of the activity he is doing....may also be a different pack. The straps in this trail cam dangle, the ones in the video don't.

JMO & observation

What strikes me about BL and his fascination with dark things is not that he has had it, it's that he still has it at 23. I think teenage boys go through this phase often, but then grow out of it when they move towards adulthood and gravitate towards education/training and a career. He doesn't strike me as someone interested in taking responsibility for his future.

Every adult guy I know still loves doing things they did as a teenager. There's no growing out of something you love just because society/women want you to "be a man".

My thoughts are the postcards aren't very neat?
They could have been written by anyone?
Why has this only just been shown? How much info are the family witholding?

For people wondering she most likely would have put all the postcards into an envelope and sent them all at once rather than seperate that may be as to why they dont have stamps etc.

Another observation I had when viewing the postcards...The handwriting and signatures on the postcards don't all match up - maybe he wrote some of them, or signed her name as the "G" in Gabby - changes on a few of them...also look at the "y" and long tails on the "e"...I'm not a handwriting specialist, but edit quite a bit, so can see anomalies quite easily. The Garden of the Gods post card is so plain, all the others are very creative (fun art), aside from the sticker on the Red Canyon one, it seems plain too...why the change?

Very interesting outdoors survival expert, talks about where she was found, away from where major predators might be. Also good info on grizzly bears, their fidelity to a kill site, just one of the best shows Chris has had.

Postcard pic #2!!!! Who is that with the long lens camera?? Now THAT person looks similar to the one captured on trail cam. Could they have put BL picture on a postcard ? I mean I don't know if that tech is possible/available where they were.

No pitchfork here. I'm in agreement. I think something very bad but impulsive happened (most likely by his hand), and he flipped. I think he didn't know what to do and likely acted somewhat irrationally in the days after her death. Jmo.

That timeline is very interesting - it would seem to suggest that by the time that woman saw BL on Aug 26, GP had passed. And if he was seen driving the van there alone & acting weird, perhaps whatever happened to GP happened in a different location. …. All MOO, of course.
Except she seems to have been located in the same area where the van was seen for 2-3 days. Was he just sitting around waiting and watching for someone else to find her? And then leaves 29th/30th to come home?Creepy and super weird. MOO

I also still just don't understand how he figured he would just drive the van home and go on living life like normal. But then again Casey Anthony did the same thing. MOO

I think an overwhelming majority of people around the world who’ve been following the case would agree with your sentiment of shock. I personally wouldn’t be shocked if it were true as l still believe he didn’t mean to harm or kill her. But I know I am very much in the minority with that theory. /JMO

So when he hit her in public and squeezed her face hard (as he admitted), he wasn't trying to harm her?

Wow, so this is significant. If he was acting weird and alone on the 26th, maybe we are all wrong about her death happening between the 27th and 30th. It changes all my thinking, honestly. The text to GP's mom on the 27th... was that one of the suspicious ones?
Yes, that was one of the one's her mom said she couldn't be sure was from Gabby.
