This reminds me of Brendan Creato 3 yr old from NJ. His dad claimed he must of walked out of the apartment during the middle of the night. Found deceased the next day by a stream.

A New Jersey mother is charged with killing her 23-month-old son after initially telling police that he had been abducted, prosecutors said Saturday.
Nakira Griner, 24, was arrested Saturday morning after her child's body was found in the yard of the woman's Bridgeton home, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office announced. Just hours earlier, shortly after 6:30 p.m. Friday, she had called the Bridgeton City Police Department to say the boy had been abducted.
After receiving word of the missing child, authorities set out on a manhunt to find the boy, even using New Jersey Park Police bloodhounds in their efforts, prosecutors said. But by around 3 a.m Saturday, the child's body was found in his mother's yard.

Please spare no mercy on this demonic creature. Allow her to suffer until the very last day she spends breathing. She deserves no place among your angels. Most especially in heaven where this precious little man is resting peacefully in Your presence. Use his life and his death to effect a change in this corrupt world of sin and despair. Bless those of us who believe and hope and continue to have faith in Your love and promises of eternal life. Strengthen those of us who are weakened over and over and over again by these horrendous events. Give us the power to turn the negatives into possitives. Help us bring peace to this world for Your honor and glory.

Police in Bridgeton, New Jersey have located the body of a missing 23-month-old boy, and his mother is accused of killing him.
Daniel Griner Jr. was reported missing around 6:30 p.m. Friday by his mother, 24-year-old Nakira M. Griner, who said that the toddler had been abducted.
Law enforcement immediately launched a full search for Daniel.
They found the toddler about 8 hours later but police say he wasn't abducted."
The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office released the following statement:
Part of it reads "At approximately 3 a.m. on February 9, child remains were located in the yard of 21 Woodland Drive, Bridgeton, the home of Nakira Griner. Based on the investigation Nakira Griner has been charged with First Degree Murder"
Police in Bridgeton, New Jersey have located the body of a missing 23-month-old boy, and his mother is accused of killing him.
Upon further investigation, Griner was also charged with Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Second Degree Desecration of Human Remains, and Fourth Degree Tampering with Evidence.
News of Daniel's murder has rocked the small town of Bridgeton.
Yvonne Lindsey of Bridgeton said, "Things like that doesn't happen around here."
"I know it's sickening...sickening," added Cathy Johnson of Bridgeton.
No additional arrests are expected at this time.
The case remains under investigation.

When babies and young children are reported missing, my first thought is always foul play. Always. I wonder long has the child been dead and which caregiver killed them.

This is just heartbreaking. He is so adorable and innocent. I will never understand how a Mom can kill her baby. It is so devastating.
The girlfriend that wanted Brendan gone before she would continue seeing him. Yes I remember her!
