Omg I would be horrified if it was one of my family members.. I would love to know how the families found out. Makes me wonder about that embalmed woman’s head found in PA some time ago.

That was the woman's head that was found in Beaver County? I recall that. At some point through isotope testing they concluded she had spent at least her last three months in Ohio, but as far as I can see they never did ID this poor woman.

Sadly, this doesn't surprise me. Not one bit, and I think it is done way more than we know about. Supply and demand. Big money. Plus during a time of crisis and mourning who wants to even think such a thing.

My dad was cremated and at least in PA you are permitted to go in. It's quite a sterile process. He never left us so we were not leaving him that's for sure. We got to see that the ashes that came out were indeed his as we had seen him go in. Now we know that's his ashes in the hutch cabinet in our living room.

May these poor families find some kind of solace. Life is bad enough then ya get this in death? Your body parts thieved? Sheesh.

Sounds like the were selling all body parts and entire bodies. Probably bought by universities for educational purposes.

How gruesome. Quite surprised that such an industry exists in America. Not very well policed. I imagine you could use one of these unsavoury places to launder a dead body. No such industry here in Australia. But, we do have people will their bodies to universities.
