Found Deceased NY - Krista Facto, 39, Moreau, 10 March 2022

Krista Facto was last seen leaving her home on Harrison Avenue Extension in the town of Moreau at approximately 10:00am on Thursday, March 10, 2022.

She may have also been in the South Glens Falls area around 10:00am. She was driving a black 2016 Kia Forte with License plate number: HZC 8478. The vehicle has a dented left front corner.

She is 39 years old and stands approximately five feet five inches tall and weighs between 160-180 pounds. She has brown/dirty blonde hair with highlights and blue eyes.

She has an ankle tattoo that says "Aidan."

Police are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the New York State Police at: (518) 583.7000.

This is local to me, in fact one of my good friends is her aunt. I was never able to find anything about the Quarry. I did see comments from a boyfriend of a girl relative to Krista. Two days he made comments alluding to they have been made aware of certain details that they were asked to not disclose. The family and all are still pushing for awareness. Nothing was specifically said. One thing I’ve wondered since the start is WHERE was she going - what was her day going to be like. This same guy is the only one I’ve seen provide an answer and that is all they were aware of her going to do was “run errands”. I took it as a normal type of day, ie groceries, bank, whatever.

From where she lives to drive to where you would do that (groceries whatever) is a very short distance and I’d be very hard pressed to think she could have went off the road and not be seen, nor in any bodies Of water - not really an area that would happen. Not saying it couldn’t of course, just unlikely. However if she were traveling a distance away to, say a bigger town - from where she lives she very well could have taken the “back way” (vs the highway), and while still not a high risk area for hillsides, water, or desolation it’s a much less beaten path and I could see that happening.

I look for posts on her everyday, hoping she’s found safe. With this many days it’s just not looking good - but since they have not located here car either best hope is she left voluntary for some reason.

Not sure, but from what I have looked up, FBI only gets involved when foul play is suspected at the request of a state or local LE agency. Read that FBI was involved but who knows...

The body of a woman reported missing out of the town of Moreau was found by New York State Police. State Police responded to an area of the Hudson River in Hudson Falls after receiving a call about a dead woman in the water. The body was later identified as Krista Facto, of Moreau.
