The dead body is very emaciated and slightly jaundiced which of course is hard to see past. but the nostrils are very similar and so is the nose in general.

Is this person biting her lip or is there something going on with her mouth?

It does appear she is biting her lip and visibly upset at that moment the photo was taken. Maybe a mug shot, not certain.

A bit of conflicting information on LA County ME:

After hearing shots fired, she was found at 1:30 a.m. on the street gutter on 12th Place and Union Ave., Los Angeles. She may have been thrown out of a vehicle. Her only clothing worn were white panties.. Tattoos: Verticle scar to center lower a abdomen. Small circular scar to right thigh. Several upper front teeth missing.. Jewelry: none.
