If ICE wasn't terrorizing the communities and was truly targeting the "worst of the worst," there would be no protests.

Nobody wants dangerous criminals in their neighborhood. Nobody would protest their deportation.

To me, it seems like that only law he may have broken (if you believe the Feds) was failing to carry a piece of plastic. They haven't demonstrated that not doing that made his carry of the gun unlawful.

quite frankly, I don't know that the victim in this case DIDN'T have ID on him.

I only know that the same agency that lied to us about him assaulting agents and having plans to unleash maximum damage upon agents CLAIMS that is the case. I don't find that agency credible. JMO MOO IMO

And if perchance he did not have his ID on him, there is a penalty under the law that covers such a misdemeanor infraction, and it isn't death.

Mobs have descended on ICE agents attempting to arrest criminal illegal immigrants. Since the mobs don't know who ICE is after, they should not be interfering.

The penalty is not only execution on the street, it's a smear campaign against his character.

Desparate grasping for a reason to justify what the agents did. My opinion.

ICE is there trying to do their jobs and mobs keep interfering. If people just videoed from the sidewalk etc there wouldn't be a problem.

But in this case, they did know who ICE was targeting. He went into the donut shop and the owner locked the door and ICE was unable to come in. At that point, ICE should have left the scene and gone to get a judicial warrant or whatever they may have needed to apprehend their target. That’s literally their ONLY job. They didn’t do that. They pushed over 2 women and then shot a man in the back.

So shooting a man 10 times after pepper-spraying and pinning him on the ground is justifiable?

I don't want to talk in circles, but get to the crux. Was the killing right?

And instead, 73.6% of those in ICE custody have NO criminal convictions. IMO they are targeting, not illegal immigrants, but immigrants trying to become citizens the ‘right’ way (by showing up at their hearings, etc. - https://www.axios.com/2025/12/23/trump-ice-green-card-interviews-immigration) because they are easier to track. They just want shock and awe.

It is not their job to summarily execute people who "interfere" with them.

And the reality is immigration is a civil matter, not criminal. But for the sake of argument let's look at some stats Fact Check Team: Do illegal migrants commit more crime than American citizens?:

A peaceful man recording. You see that man with a phone out standing still on the sidewalk and an aggressor gets up close and in his face, that agent backing off. The peaceful man then sees a peaceful fellow observer, a woman, being unnecessarily and violently pushed to the ground by an aggressor. He comes to her aid to help her up off the ground and becomes a target of all the agents for doing that. He's then swarmed by angry/violent agents, is disarmed and shot in the back, dead. There's an examination of the events. That's what my eyes saw clearly. AJMO

And some of those who do have criminal convictions have been handed to ICE by Minnesota Department of Corrections (linked upthread).

Well perhaps, many of us are thinking--and clearly this is only moo-- Is History repeating itself?
And, I personally, believe we have to consider this, since we ARE living in aggressive times.

eg. The US did not enter WW2 until 1941. But Hitler started detaining and imprisoning "people" the very moment he took office in 1933.
Once we start turning "the right to assemble" into "they should not have inserted themselves into the situation", we are starting to slide that very slippery slope.
