if anyone could even suggest that this could be politically motivated by proxy against a TV host - don't we all need to take a long hard look at where we are as a species??

just my own pointless thought on the subject
Well, we all know good and well that whatever the outcome, the perp's political leaning (once found out) will be put on blast, no matter if it's left or right. I hate it so much that we've come to this as a country, media trying to pit us against each other. I fully believe that most people are moderate, with only a few crazies on the fringes. But the media would like us to believe the exact opposite. Sad stuff.

AB is aware of all that you say. Her source is presented at being very close to this case. She must be very confident. In subsequent interviews she is not backing down.

Fair enough, and her report may be true. But in addition to her source's possible misinterpretation or even getting misguided human intel from a fluid situation, it's also a way to weed out leaks in a media-obsessed case.

There is plenty.

- Her husband was the last person to see NG at the home (possibly with AG in the car)
- AG received the call that mom didn’t go to church, but mom might have attended virtually
- AG went to the house and took an hour to call police, despite blood being in the house and the camera being gone
- As someone else pointed out, AG read that statement like a eulogy

I also don’t think a 30-40 YO man would call it “bitcoin”. That sounds like something a 50+-YO woman or offshore scammer would use. And I don’t think an offshore scammer would have the means to kidnap NG.

Is it a fact AG took an hour to call LE from NG's home?

I'm just wondering, if this was targeted towards SG and her money then why take her mom? Isn't it (i'm sorry to say) easier to kidnap a child instead of a 84 yr old with several health issues? Ofcourse both are horrific but usually when ransom is involved they go for the kids, right? Idk, just wondering about this.

Right!? Even disregarding any heart meds, etc.... it was mentioned she lived with constant pain.... not taking pain meds first thing in the morning can be devastating... much less none for so many days in a row.....
I keep thinking about her meds not being taken too. If they want to ensure she’s alive and well, they would have grabbed them. Maybe she mentioned it, maybe not? Maybe it didn’t matter to them because they weren’t playing on her living? I hate to say this, but it’s something to consider.

Presser is in just over an hour, and I think it will be really telling.
As far as the upcoming presser. I’m curious about your thoughts. Would it benefit the FBI/PD to come forward and say, “Yes, there’s a legitimate ransom note,” or “Yes, the SIL is a suspect”? Or will they leave this as speculation?

I’m not sure because it wasn’t identified as such, but it could have been said and I just didn’t hear it. It was going on when several of us on the thread were trying to get live information to Tricia last night. Hopefully it was her church.

Maybe someone else can verify that the vigil was at her church. Right now I don’t think we have any confirmed source on the church information as far as via Zoom or in person.
someone a couple of replies back did say it was NOT her chuch.... so i thought wrong!

Why do you say they are not searching? They are still searching. Brian Entin has a couple of newer videos discussing how they are actively searching and that the search is intensifying.
i get the impression it is not general searching but more tip and evidence driven focused searching.

I think her source didn't really offer anything profound, but rather a fairly common observation that LE always leans on and thoroughly investigates the last person or persons who see a victim. The source could've misinterpreted all of that activity and innuendo as a hard lead.

Could be wrong on that, though. Time will tell.

JMO.
AB has said that she's been friends with SG for years so there's that which leads me to think that her source must have been proven to be extremely reliable for her to go ahead and report what she was told at the expense of maybe offending SG to the point of losing a friendship.
The Sheriff's answer for "is there a suspect" was run of the mill for LE yet when his office was questioned about AG's car being towed away by LE they didn't confirm or deny it and said they have evidence they sent to the lab.
AB also said the car was towed and she's put herself far out on a limb but has been doing this for decades.
Stay tuned.
imo

Briana is on the ground and in touch with the sheriff's office and the FBI.

The issue is not having an opinion about a potentially political motivation. It is the characterization of SG being “rude” and asking questions that comes across as a rhetorical statement in which SG’s “rudeness” is a component of the motivation. We can debate all day about SG’s interviewing demeanor but that is unhelpful IMO.

SG is far from being a Don Lemon type of journalist, she reports on a variety of of stories and thus the idea that a political motivation for kidnapping her mother is a reach. I’m not saying it’s not possible, just not likely.

I don’t think anyone has a problem considering the possibility, again, it’s the criticism of SG as an aggravating factor that is “rude” IMHO.
Are these posts implying political motives considered rules violations? There were some yesterday implying this abduction was to distract from controversial political issues.

he's never been named, so he can't be "cleared".
Not true. Idaho 4 police started clearing people proactively without naming them first

I don’t think they can answer that question at this point.

It would be nice if they could clear the family, but they may not be in a position to do that either.

Do people think it will be Sheriff Nanos again. I sort of doubt it.

It better be! This is all really sketchy. I usually have a general theory but I'm really stumped!

Yeah, he’ll be there I’m sure. I also think he’ll be much more careful with his messaging, thanks to lessons learned and federal involvement (and advice).

Maybe it depends on how they want to be perceived.

if you are after ransom from SG better to go after her and all her security detail in NYC or her mother in Tucson in a secluded home living alone? I think the answer is clear.
