They did look hopeless, however in that interview with KOLD-TV and Erin Burnett, the KOLD-TV reporter said that they can only receive text, no pictures or videos. So I don't think they saw a body part.

Or they could be savvy that her phone and watch may have google maps or other location tracking. Who knows.

That’s ascribing attributes to someone without any morals - fairness, honor, compassion, understanding, compromise. If this ransom is true and they do end up paying so they can recover her body, there is almost zero chance the kidnapper will suddenly have the integrity to keep his word. IMO.

We don't necessarily know that this was a kidnapping for ransom.

We know that Nancy was taken out of her house by an intruder and that she was likely injured or possibly not alive when she was taken out of the house.

We know there have been ransom letters.

But, these may be 2 separate situations and the ransomers may be taking advantage of -- but not involved in Nancy's abduction.

They may be connected but they may not be related at all. JMO
